No one will ever reach the level of fame and admiration that Michael did. Sometimes people forget that he is actually a human being because he is out-of-this-world talented. It was a blessing and also a HUGE curse. He loved his fans, but he also longed just to be a "normal" everyday person because he wanted to see how people truly act. He also wanted to know if people really loved him for him or just because he was THE Michael Jackson. It's quite tragic if you think about it. He will not only go down in history as the greatest entertainer who ever lived but also such a kind, immensely selfless and giving humanitarian. ❤

This is a side note but after reading the bodyguards book Remember The Time and Talitha's Michael Jackson and Me both talked about Michael’s interactions with his fans. One thing they noticed is how much he liked his fans to prank him 😅 So the OG fans that would always wait by his house came up with little things every so often to hear Michael’s true deep laughter. One time they got construction signs (I think it was a stop sign and road block sign?) and waited by his home with it saying he could not pass them when he drove in. He pulled the window down and got the biggest kick out of it. They said they had never heard him laugh like that before 😂

I got to be honest, I am a grown man at age 29, and I would have absolutely been in awe of him. I might have cried too. Me and my Mom shared a love of Michael's music. She'd let me stay up late and watch his music videos. Thriller was the first one I ever saw. Instantly hooked. I was 15 when he died. It was a surreal moment. Everyone can remember where they were when they got the news. He is one that, I don't know if I wouldn't be just as overwhelmed as these people, if I ever had the chance to meet him. Oh my god mee too aghhhhhh!!!God I loved him SOOOOOOOoooo much!!!!!!I grew up in the 80's and 90's as was born in 1978 and I'm British and was always a massive fan of the King Of Pop Michael Jackson including listening to the Jackson five cassettes during my childhood and was so overwhelmed being at his concert aged nineteen at Wembley Stadium I think I was in shock the entire time!!!I'd totally forgotten the massive impact he'd always had on me and been MASSIVELY reminded of how adorable, cute, shy, sweet, handsome , out of this world dancer, singer aghhh stunning performers and how untouchable he was aghhhhh loved him SO much he was too good for this earth I grew uo having a major crush on him and always wished I'd been his girlfriend secretly growing up lije you do😄🥰. Fallen utterly and completely inlove with him all over Spain but boy did he have an out of this world effect of ne and billions globally. Nobody's come close to his genius. He was a rare genius and like Queen Latifa said at his funeral " We had him". I can still remember where I am when it was on my my old tv's news in my first home by myself and I was in shock it was like ii was in denial because I'd followed The King Of Pop ALL MY LIFE and and was dumbfounded and completely devastated. One of the things that he said which I think was in the Bashir documentary was "There's all this love out there but still, you really do feel lonely." Yes, Michael was a global icon but he was also a human who craved affection, connection with others and wanted to experience what he never had in his life. I will never forgive the media for what they did to this man's life because he was LITERALLY trapped by fame and was ROBBED of both a childhood and a normal life.

In a way i dont blame these fans for going absolutely crazy seeing Michael, i would've too! But in the years since Michael's passing and reading and learning about how lonely he felt despite his fame and just seeing him as a human being. I more than anything would've loved to just sit and talk to him as a normal person. That would've been everything to me! BTW, those two fans crying cause Michael got married cracked me up LMAOO!

I understand that he was a global icon and beloved by pretty much the whole world…..but people need to learn to have some respect and decorum because at the end of the day….Michael was still just a human being, the only difference was that he an amazing singing gift. The fact that some of those fans were willing to pretty much destroy public property, and harm each other just to see him….that’s scary. So while it’s understandable that he was a massive star…..there still needs to be a huge level of decorum and respect from the fans.

THIS is how you know who #1 is. Many talented stars. Many iconic artists. But NO ONE, NO ONE ever had such appeal as Michael Joseph Jackson. Even Elvis Presley & The Beatles could never hit this & they were GIANT. It was not a regional thing or a national thing or even simply an international thing. It was a GLOBAL thing. He got this INSANE UNPRECEDENTED reaction no matter what part of the world he went to. UNIVERSAL ACCLAIM. Even the penguins in Antarctica would warble differently if he came to the South Pole. The love for this man was so great that I think the universe had to balance it out hence the insane hate he can get. It's a thin line between love & hate as the song goes. I am so glad I got to witness this phenomenon in my lifetime.

We had a very close moment between hotel transitions, I asked him how he coped with fame and he replied that it was just a natural part of his job as an entertainer.
