The back rub/pat at the end by Barbera Walters was very fake and insincere. She didn’t even say my condolences or anything. She was focused on his will!! Shameful and disappointing.
Barbers ran Michael through the ringer in her interview with him. She wasn’t kind at all , and also to Lisa Mari. She acted like Michael was some king of freak in my opinion. .
There was rumour at the time that the Jackson's weren't happy with the will - Barbara is simply giving her a chance to clarify the rumours, that's the reason that Rebbie is probably on this show, to clear up the misconceptions and push her new projects.
@@Myluxury1stHair Same here! But rebbie and Janet look like the same person from different time periods. It's uncanny just how alike they look. Like twins! The way they talk, the way they hold their head, everything.
Here's the birth order for them all... Maureen "Rebbie" Jackson - 5/29/50 Sigmund Esco "Jackie" Jackson - 5/4/51 Tariano Adaryl "Tito" Jackson - 10/15/53 Jermaine LaJuane Jackson - 12/11/54 LaToya Yvonne Jackson - 5/29/56 Marlon David & Brandon Jackson (twins) - 3/12/57 Michael Joseph Jackson - 8/29/58 Steven Randall "Randy" Jackson - 10/29/61 Janet Damita Jo Jackson - 5/16/66 Brandon died shortly after birth; both Rebbie & LaToya share Katherine's birthday (May 29th).
🙄 I bet you’ve been waiting to use that line your whole life or since you’ve learned that the person who was BORN 1st would be the anchor for a person to look like them. It’s not that serious to warrant a “Ummmm.... please stop saying.” 🙄🙄
I always liked the idea of Rebbie being the "captain" of the family, the one that never got fully corrupted by fame and the life that comes with it. The person who could take the pressure of the mum, who could shoulder everyone's burden while living her own life as a wife and mother. I hope today she is able to live a peaceful life, it sounds like one of the grandkids of the Jacksons' (one of the brothers from that group 3T) is stepping up as the Captain now.
Rebbie looks just like her brother Jermaine. Every Jackson is absolutely beautiful. They are so kind, soft spoken & humble. I wish I could have that "light & kindness" shine through myself.
I read comments about her age her looks and other stuff. What about the fact she's a very classy and lovely lady that loves FAMILY not MONEY. God bless her. The Jackson family needs her stability and strength .
Rebbie hello Queen can u please for my salvation tell the truth the entire whole truth about ur family and the industry because I know u know from beginning to end What happened when u were a teen? Y are u still hiding the pain?
That was so low of Barbara to ask her about the will and insinuate that some family members were upset that in Michael's will he had all of his money to go his children. Such bad taste!!!! Smh...
barbara made up that LIE she heard they fighting over mikes money... those jackson have no reason to argue over his money..sherry like i didnt hear that😂😂
Mrs. Walter is by profession is an investigative reporter that was her career for many years. That his how she landed on 20/20. Keep in mind before they do these interviews they send a list of questions that the want to ask, and the person being interviewed people make a decision which ones they will or will not answer. Nine times out of ten, the family welcomed being interviewed that is why they sent the best person to represent the family. They knew there was flying rumors and wanted to use someone that is respected in the world of journalism to ask the hard questions. This was a great interview between Rebbie and Barbara. The question was asked and answered very well and thoroughly. Everyone else asked their fluff questions. It was over all a great interview.
+MrHENNYSTR8 That is exactly what I said. Horrible and cheap, lacking the depth their experience in interviewing should warrant these ladies. I am so pleased with the beauty Rebbie displayed, as I am equally pleased to say I am and will be a non-'View'er of this show in the future.
The whole interview was a mess hence why Whoopie was very deliberate in saying absolutely nothing. Whoopie new it was gonna be a car crash moment on tv. And did you at the end Barbara extend her hand only to be left hanging lol. Just a hot mess from beginning to end.
Seriously, I was thinking why are these women firing these questions at this sweet lady... no heart, no empathy, no natural compassion... shame on them
The Jacksons have this special way about them. They are classy and very intelligent people. Plus they have a positive relaxed aura, Zen like. They seem venerable, but they are not. They are a very strong family. God bless them all.
Rebbie's words about her brother Michael and the family were very comforting and I appreciate her sharing them. She was honest about how hurt they all are over the lost of a family member. He was one of the the most wonderful people in the world. He was truly amazing. Michael Joesph Jackson made my life beautiful and I too will miss him.
I thought that their line of questioning was offensive, insensitive and disrespectful of Rebbie's feelings. To include Barbara and the way she asked about Michael's will stating what she heard from "reports", and asking about the kids going to Diana. Just plain horrible interview. Rebbie was grieving and they asked her to be on that show to maul her down like that. Whoopi and Joy on the other hand, was courteous of her feelings and chimed in with their contributions appropriately and respectfully.
Rebbie is my favorite Jackson. It seems that she has her head firmly on her shoulders. A very sensible woman, with poise, grace, and the Jackson vocal cords.
It's funny how in Janet's book she said as a kid she wished she'd look like her sister rebbie... Now she does. It's crazy.. They could be twins but rebbie is almost 20 years older than Janet lol
I watched the interview Janet had with Oprah back in ‘97... I’ve just blown away how much they look alike. They look like their mother but genes definitely did continue. Rebbie is 16 years older than Janet ❤️
Rebbie seems like a lovely and humble woman. Not fake and always quick to try and profit like La Toya. I've always felt she was the prettiest Jackson daughter. She also seemed to handle herself very well when Barbara was asking dumb questions. Well done, Rebbie. Hope you had a great tour!
Marcell2aG she wasn’t rude , she asked him direct questions and finally got a answer , Asking about masks and the way he dressed attracted press, Of course it did and Michael thought it didn’t , odd or what
Whats wrong with leaving billions to your mom and sibs? They were the ones to look over his children and thats the only way he knew to express his gratitude when he suddenly left. He loved them so much.
Rebbie is a very classy woman. Katherine, the mother is an amazing woman, on how she raised her children. It's amazing how they've stuck together to this day. A family indeed blessed, by talent, and love. It's certainly is hard loosing Michael. A family that prays together, stays together. May God bless the Jackson family. They are a part of the soundtrack of my life. R.I.P Michael.
Actually Rebbie had her nose done too, she just opted to stop after the first one, so she has the oroginal first job, it was Michael's idea once he got his first one (which was the best one) for everyone to get one including Joe & Katherine so tht thy all would still look alike.
Barbara Walters should be ashamed of herself for the questions she asked. She's the only one who delved into personal family matters and details about the will, while others discussed Rebbie's life and career. Totally crappy interviewing. As tacky as her boots.
I am sure that Rebbie knew and understood that shows like these and host like these were going to ask those questions, afterall, the Jackson's are not new to this. But i do agree that it was a poor interview, but i am not a fan of multi host shows like this anyway.....
Nothing quite as tscky as the boots i was transdfixed by them .....would you describe it as cultural misapporpriation .....lokks like they belong to Pocohantad .....
@@whoswhoo LMFAO!!!! I was staring at them too. I couldn't believe she had them on. I was following the legs to see whom they belonged to. Lmao!!! I was like Barbara for real!?!
I feel that it is wonderful that Rebbie Jackson is still performing and going back on tour. The time is right for her! I just wanted to also comment that Michael is the most amazing, sensitive, unforgettable person and I love him with all my heart!
Rebbie is at the helm of the Jackson family!!! She looks beautiful!!!! I see a lot of her mom in her. Great interview! I have got to be honest, I never knew she was involved in the music industry. You know, regarding this interview, this family was grieving death, death of a family member, interviewing her about who did or did not receive a portion of the will seems tasteless and cheap in my mind. Honestly, I do not watch The View but the few clips I have seen have deeply severed any appreciation for Barbara Walters, even though there was a time I had great respect for her. What a tasteless and very unprofessional woman she has dissolved into, at least in this 'viewer's' eyes!!!
It was so very nice to see Rebbie after all these years. She looks well, and seems to be very intelligent. I hope she continues to be successful in her career, and that she keeps standing behind her daughter bringing more focus on by polar illness, with people offering financial and moral support.
Rebbie, I grew up with your brothers' music; they were the soundtrack of my early childhood. Now I'm back after many years away. The media craziness has died down, and Michael has left us way too soon. I can't wait to check out your music as well! You, Janet, and Latoya are next in my Jackson Family music collection! I was reading "Moonwalk" a few weeks ago and your brother Michael told me all about you in that book. He wrote about how you stepped in, helped Mom around the house, and how you helped your brothers and sisters. You did a wonderful job in helping to raise your brother Michael. He was my childhood musical crush and will always remain my first love. He was an amazing human being, and had the same passion for giving back like me. I'm just checking out your brother's solo music for the first time; he sang some awesome songs on his solo albums, and he is getting me hooked on them! I was never one of those crazy, obsessive fans; I respected Michael's privacy and ignored everything the tabloids and media said about him and your family, and I still do. I just see you as a normal family, not at how the media views you. Keep up the good work in everything you do, and thank you for sharing Michael and your family with us. I hope we can meet one day. Blessings, Dara
I am very surprised that all the Jacksons, no matter how much money they have or how popular they seem to be, they are sooo humble, grounded, serious and intelligent. Good Job Mama Jackson.
