I remember hearing this commercial jingle during soul train every Saturday morning here in California. I was pretty close to four years old at the time.
The "curl" was like the transition from the natural styles (fros) in the 70s, into going BACK to perms (late 80s - 90s) ..but what was good about the 90s was that there was more diversity (you had braids, fros, extensions AND perms)
It's amazing how some people would confuse Johnson Products-the company that makes this brand, and mistaking it for Johnson and Johnson, the company that makes baby powder and baby oil.
I'm glad I'm watching these commercials all over again because I was born in the 1980s myself I was born in 82 so I'm 40 years old. And I noticed that's ola Ray the one who played Michael Jackson's girlfriend on the thriller videoI really wish they bring those old commercials back on TV

This guy in this commercial got a kiss from her. Michael didn't get one in Thriller. I'm angry because of this. Michael was way more handsome and had way more charisma 😄😎
