i agree sad he was sick most of the tour and with bad throat but it sounds so much better .

He had laryngitis for most of this tour. Sounds to me like he didn't realize his mic was hot and he was just proceeding as if no one could hear him. I think if he'd of actually tried, he'd of sounded much better. There's other instances during HWT that you can hear him sing live over the backing vocals and he sounds pretty great.

Lol, I remember reading a article about this performance, he had laryngitis during the first few shows on the HIStory tour. This was the first show though and he told the people in charge of all the sound stuff to turn of his mic and just play the playback cause he knew his voice wasn't good but someone turned on his mic and and Michael didn't even notice and just kept singing. I think someone low-key turned on his mic being shady.

It is very hard to sing live. I've performed it at karaoke shows and it's a voice killer. I love the song though and usually do both Mike and Janet's parts. It really comes down to where to sing and when to dance. I tend to mix it up whenever I perform Michael Jackson.

Well the mics do prove that to someone. For instance, when they switch from playback to live mic, the difference is pretty obvious.

I know he was lip synching, but the microphone wouldn't prove that to someone. Those mic's are REALLY sensitive. He could have a microphone down by his hip and you'd be able to hear him.

that's sad. At this point he had already proven himself over several hundred concerts. For the HIStory tour he suffered with layringitis. He has in fact done some incredible singing, but keep in mind tha the studio-versions are made under perfect conditions and without dancing while on the tours he's singing while dancing his heart out. There are several videos, tours and concerts who proves his extreme abilities as a singer. Just listen to what his vocal coaches and producers say about him. You don't seriously believe he couldn't sing?

Aadibass he did not have it the WHOLE tour. there are many performances he doesn't. both this one and munich he is VERY sick, but every other popular one probably he was fine

+Christopher Daniels - what evidence do you want now? I guess the diagnosis by his Dr. isn't enough for you. It was widely reported on all of the Entertainment shows that he had suffered with laryngitis, as well as other health issues, but you always want guaranteed proof. I guess everybody else is wrong and you are always right, (with no proof either). They can't show you the Doctors diagnosis (it's protected by HIPPA) maybe if you had spoken with his sister or mom, or a couple of the reporters, maybe they could have clarified things to your satisfaction.
