As much as he was influenced by all the different ballroom dances, he became so original that he created a his own categoric style to be studied by dancers forever.
I wasn't a rabid Dancing With the Stars fan, but I found this on a search of MJ tribute performances...and it completely blew me away. These folks are excellent in their dedication to their crafts, and they deserve all the applause they get.
If they used the original music, i don't think they can alter the song to make it continuous and smooth....bsides, they had to change the rhythm a little to fit the latin and ballroom.
I think you meant Mark Ballas. I always thought Mark Ballas was an even better dancer than Derek Hough. But that's just my opinion. Dancing with the Stars hasn't been the same since he left.
@@newman8180 This! I remember when this 1st aired, and was so disappointed that Mark was not in the front at the end. Seeing Mark behind Derek, you can see his dancing was the best.
What salsa? This routine incorporates Samba, rumba bolero, and paso doble, with some of Michael Jackson's moves thrown in here and there (especially in the Thriller segment). No salsa to be found.
