I don't like Just Good Friends it just average for me, but I do love Michael and Stevie. My son, who I named Michael, is playing trumpet on the Xscape album with Mo'Horns. My favorite tour, hands down, is Triumph. I had the pleasure of attending that tour in August of 1981. I was a teenager then, and it was incredible. I will always love Michael on tour with his brothers. I preferred the Bad Tour over the History tour. I missed the Bad tour because I was pregnant with my first born son. Dangerous is the most interesting. Off The Wall came out in 1979 I love both but the first one is the best. Off The Wall is my personal favorite, but I like Invincible. Butterflies is my favorite song from that album. Black or White was cool. The video was great the merging of the faces was ahead of its time. The 30th Anniversary was cool. You were blessed to have been there.

when i was teen "just good friends" was one of my faves along with human nature, man in the mirror, keep the faith etc. again with michael album, i more so enjoyed it when i was kid/teen. now i listen to hold my hand and best of joy. disagree with history being better than bad tour. history had less live singing, more stage production etc. i love it ofc, but i prefer bad! it felt more personal and less "commercial". but then again i have more connection to history tour/era as he performed in my country and ive talked to ppl who went to see him then. disagree with invincible being one of the best of all time. it great, but i agree that partly it can sound dated. with MJ i'm kind of used to that timeless vibe in songs. anyways, my favorite songs from it are unbreakable and speechless. black or white is one of my absolute fav songs of all time. it's just so joyful to me! but if i have a phase when i listen to it, the beat can get quite repetive 30th anniversary is super cool, the crowd is wild. i rarely watch it though as i dont feel very personally connected to it and michael didnt seem 100% himself that night. forever michael is my fav from the early albums. lisa it's your bday is soo cute. i def wish it was longer

I love the up tempo and feel good factor of Just Good Friends, MJ and Stevie's vocals are beautiful ❤️Black snd White is brilliant, the beat lyrics vocals are so uplifting. Invincible is incredible with so many bangers on that album, MJ albums when he was a child brings so much emotions. MJ you are loved and missed King❤❤❤❤❤

Me personally as a Michael jackson fan... me personally my favorite MJ album is Thriller. Such a beautifully Done album. From the music videos to the era not to mention it is the beggening of Michaels big hits that we know him from. But my favorite Era of Mj is between the bad era or the dangerous era. The only song from the Michael album I like is “The Way You Love Me”. I believe it was released on The Ultimate Collection album in 2004 as well. It just sounds a little different. Also one unpopular opinion I have is that State of Shock demo version with Freddie Mercury is better than the one with Mick Jagger.

Money, This Time Around, Heaven Can’t Wait, One More Chance, Blue Gangsta Everybody from the Jacksons (didn’t realize it sounded similar to Get on the Floor from Off The Wall) are some of my favorite MJ songs MJ was definitely inspired by Stevie. I think he got the “hehee” from some early Stevie songs plus he did background vocals on “All I Do” I did like the Hollywood song from Michael lol haven’t listened to it since the controversy though And yes the 30th anniversary special is so underrated. Just as good as Motown 25. I’ve watched it so many times

I hope I don't get stabbed by saying this, but I actually like 2 of those s o n g s on the Michael album. Monster and Breaking News have explosive energies that I vibe with, especially BN (I love its chorus). I know Michael doesn't sing them, but I can still enjoy the songs for what they are. Kinda sucks they're off Spotify. Also, "Danger is The Game" is also a fake song, but damn do I love it also. I recommend yall check it out. His unreleased work in general is my favorite, I discovered DITG while browsing them here on YT

❤ just good friends is one of my personal favorite songs from the Bad album however I can see why people aren't as accepting of it because it has that upbeat distinctive 80s cheesiness that most of Michael's Music was void of and I'll just say it it's one of the catchiest songs that he ever put out but the masses are asses what can I say. I don't know this is considered an unpopular opinion but my criticism of Thriller 40 is that it didn't mention the songs "Baby Be Mine" and "Lady In My Life". Also, that they didn't mention the background vocalists at "PYT"! I mean Kim Fields and Mindy Cohn (Tootie and Natalie respectively) who starred in the sitcom The Facts of Life sang background on "PYT" along with LaToya and Janet Jackson! Kim Fields post a photo of the session on her social media accounts after James Ingram died.

Unpopular opinion: the Thriller documentary was shit. For an expert fan- there were way too many ‘basic’ things presented that a common person the street knows about Michael Jackson. The only rare/new thing I saw in that documentary was the super rare footage of Michael in a studio wearing that turquoise Mickey Mouse sweater etc.

Uou want an unpopular opinion, I have been an MJ fans since I was 2 years old back in 1982, and I do love the Michael Album, my unpopular opinion is I honestly think all 10 songs are MJ. Now I fo think some parts of the songs may be a imposter, but I personally don't think it us enough to make me hate those songs.

Thriller 25 vs Thriller 40: In terms of the album cover it's pretty easy to say that Thriller 25 wins (at least for me). The same goes with the overall design and the quality we didn't get through Thriller 40. The demos don't even sound as good as the demos on Bad 25; some demos were not even created in the Thriller recording sessions (Sunset Driver, What a lovely way to go, which were made in the Off the Wall sessions) plus they are not included on the vinyl, which design looks horrible if you ask me. Many pictures of that period are in a bad quality as well and look like a shame to Michael. However I understand why you don't like Thriller 25 that much. I mean I'm not interested in those remixes as well although I like the Wanna be startin somethin mix at least a bit. Same goes with For all time which is a great track but not from the Thriller recording sessions which is a bit odd for me I guess. But still all in all I prefer Thriller 25 due to the higher quality we got in the new tracks and the design, which looks AMAZING on the Zombie edition.

Just Good Friends just doesn't belong on Bad, It completely ruins the vibe. If it was released as a single, it'd be fine.

Yeah, the MJ and Lenny Kravitz compilations are really pretty lackluster. (That, and Whatever Happens. By the time that song came out, Santana grooves had already been done better.)

The Verse-to-Chorus on “Just Good Friends” doesn’t flow well. It’s the writing and arrangement that doesn’t work on that song. The production and vocals are fire and top notch.
