They kept Flash cause they already spent $200m+ on it, wrapped filming before the stories came out, and there was no way around it other than canning the entire thing at a giant loss. Reshoots to replace him would've been impossible and cost a ton more money. I'm not justifying Ezra's actions but it's easier to drop someone like Majors before a huge tentpole production than after it. Flash still going down as the biggest bomb in WB history has basically booted Ezra from being A-list ever again. What really did Majors in was that Rolling Stone expose that documented his history of abusive behavior and reputation since his college days. After his conviction on the abuse charges, it comes down to a giant corporation like Disney not wanting to risk being hugely liable by keeping him for Marvel flicks if more stories or accusations come out as any potential victim could point and say Disney knew all about him and has to be held responsible. It's enough for them to say nah, he's gotta go, and the potential headaches and optics aren't worth it.

He also threatened suicide if the girl said something at the hospital. That wasn’t on trial but that’s public knowledge that the jury had access to. That and his lawyer did a horrible job by focusing on race and not the fact that no one can prove what happened inside the car. She focused on the racism in NY in a trial and not the actual incident.

@@Kirasfoxdomestic violence vs drug use are two separate issues. You have to think about the women majors has to work with after they heard audio of him not wanting that girl to go to the hospital. Not saying he hit her because that could have been some sex s&m stuff. But saying that a lot of women would be uncomfortable working with him. They had to let him go.

@DrVonJay Firstly, there was NO audio of himself saying that. Secondly, she takes pills consistently to sleep...alll the time. Nor did she even say she had an injury. She had a headache. Can you make a slight guess as to why he didn't want her to go? She also has an alcohol problem as proven in court... by a Dr who tested her.

The court would verify if those texts came from that phone number and weren’t fudged over by the prosecution. Like the court would actually verify the legitimacy of the texts not only through the phone company but through forensics to make sure that accuser is putting forth legitimate “evidence” against someone. They’d verify the ping of the person’s location as they made that text just to see if her And his phone weren’t close by to account for the possibility that she texted herself those words. They’d also verify if she did indeed go to the hospital on that day and for what purpose. And if I were majors and still unadvisedly went to trial to make all of this stuff public, I’d testify to add to the taxi driver’s account of what happened. But Like I said, I’m not saying that it’s true or not. That text could be some sex s&m stuff. I’m saying that as a man if my sister showed me those texts I wouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. If I were a CEO of a business and employed women I wouldn’t take that chance and would let him go. If I’m some distant person typing from a screen with zero responsibility of people who may have interpersonal relations with Majors then I can be unbiased and apathetic about who he’s interacting with.
