Chris Flores his brand is more relevant than him lol people would say I got some Jordan sneakers but you show them a pic of mj face and they wouldn’t recognize him
I was literally thinking isn’t the flu contagious? and now people are giving Rudy gobert shit for accidentally getting donavan Mitchell sick while Jordan is praised for playing while he knew he was sick
"I'm very tired and very weak. But somehow, I found the energy to stay strong. I wanted it really bad." These words can guide any human being through any struggle. I love Michael Jordan forever.
Me: Dad I'm sick I can't go to school, I'm throwing up I don't feel good." Dad: No you're going to school, and MJ dropped 38 points in a game with the flu. you'll be fine."
whys nobody talking about the fact this guy also had to carry bugs bunny and his mates through a legendary game with some aliens idc if he had flu once big deal
It was food poisoning his trainer even said it was. He said they were training and they ordered a pizza when they were done. Three men showed up with the pizza but they didn’t think much of it and Jordan started to get sick after he ate the pizza. His trainer said he was laying on the couch in pain holding his stomach. So his trainer said it was food poisoning but his trainer may be wrong but I also believe it was food poisoning
Chicago Harper he wouldn't be able to play if it was food poisoning, with all that jumping and contractions of his muscles best believe he would have shat on the court
Jordan:plays while having the flu Kobe: shoots free throws with torn achilles Lebron: goes down with a cramp Paul Pierce: gets wheelchaired off court to go poo
Nobody: Absolutely Nobody: No soul in this entire world: RU-vid: Lets put this 10 year old video in everybody's recommendations due to Coronavirus trends
One of the coolest parts of the now - legendary story of the flu game is that jordan gave his shoes to a young man who helped out jordan relieve his symptoms. He brought jordan anything he needed to make him feel better. At the end of the game, Jordan asked what he can do to thank the guy. He asked if he can have jordans shoes that he wore in the game. Jordan agreed amd autographed them as well. The guy recently sold those shoes at an auction and got a pretty penny for them. Over $104,000 dollars!!!! I always thought that was one of the coolest thing jordan has done. What a lucky guy.
ABELXSANTANA bc Jordan wasn’t really sick lol he was Jordan an the series was tied up lol he got inside the opponent heads lol he was genius.. first quarter plays poorly an let’s them get a lead an let them let down their guard an then bam he smashes them then act like he couldn’t stand after plays an sitting on the bench an ect.. it was all a ploy
Reminds me of when I went to work with the flu, if you keep moving and doing your job you are fine, but the moment you take a break and stop, the exhaustion hits you like a ton of bricks
@@BaseballRoscoe25 MJ got me through that ordeal. Winning a championship was his focus. Financially providing for my family was mine so that was my focus....although my body shouted "YOU CRAZY AS HELL!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got the flu when I was in Disney 2 years ago and I couldn’t get out of my bed at our condo. My mom took me to an urgent care place and that night we flew back home and I was sleeping for days
it's serious people who hate on Lebron is not known why even Michael Jordan says it's a very very great player he has many great titles triple double stop of rage after sucking and players who have a career largely less good
To question his actual sickness and attribute the condition to a con job, is actually a compliment....because it is that unbelievable that a human can perform at a high level with the Flu or Food Poisoning in an office job, let alone the highest level of professional sports with everything on the line....He was different, plain and simple....you will never see another
Currently watching this with flu, I can barely move and everything hurts. If Jordan really played and carried his team to a win while having these symptoms that’s just insane
Damn yesterday I was flu at training and I can tell you it’s so hard to even stand up. This got just recomended to me, I wasn’t the biggest mj fan but that has just changed. Huge respect ✊
As a Jazz fan, I can’t help but be completely mesmerized by this man. It’s a little unfair that our best team in our history had to play against an actual God, but this is too memorable to make me upset about the outcome.
everytime i watch this video i get chills when i hear michael sayin "No matter how sick i was, how tired i was..." hes simply awesome and a really inspiring person
I will never forget that game. Most heroic athletic performance, other than that heat stroke marathoner at 1984 L.A. Olympics and Secretariat at the Belmont.
I remember watching a movie the other day where this was mentioned but nothing else besides that. I never talked about it or anything, yet here we are 🙃 Edit: nvm it was a Drew Gooden video.
They said he has a fever was throwing up all night couldn't hold down anything had to give him IV fluids so for anyone who says he didn't have the flu or wasn't really sick just hating and trying to discredit and take away from his performance. I mean look in his eyes and at his mannerisms during timeouts on the bench or any stoppage of the game not mention he was sweating bullets so abviosly he wasn't well at all.
charlie davis those 2 guys commenting in the video questioned was he "really sick" , just hating. Just let a champion be a champion. He exceeded their expectations, you'll find a lot of ppl in life like them. Walk on em every chance you get. Every chance.
charlie davis he probably did have food poisoning (which is just as bad as the flu). He had pizza from a sketchy restaurant and the trainer even said he has food poisoning. Either way it’s an incredible story.
It’s sad how ignorant you are. The same people that made this video are the same people who told the truth. Dude was hungover from Gambling and drinking all night. Still a incredible feat but he wasn’t sick. Learn your facts before u spout ignorant non sense with what u observed in this video
i just watched drew gooden’s video where he mentioned michael jordan’s game he played while he had the flu, and here i am watching it after it got recommended to me.
I couldn’t make myself do anything except for go to the bathroom when I had the flu. Idk how he did that. Your muscles are exhausted and those horrible aches and chills
one time I was laying in bed dying from Ebola but i remembered this game. i got inspired, crawled out of bed, puked up some blood and went to the park. i scored 314 points that night plsying 21
This exactly proves why Michael is the GOAT. This man was feeling horrible but fought through the Flu and still helped his team win the game. True legend.
He had Food Poisoning, which I just got that 3 days ago and I felt like I was gonna die throwing up so much. The fact that he played through this game and won it shows he’s really the best player to ever play the game
@@360carter3I’ve only got food poisoning one in my life I was a kid that night I’ve never puked so much in my life so fast over and over again I slowly sipped a lot of ginger ale the next day it’s a nightmare
@@goldenwolf8081 exactly bro Food Poisoning is no joke and it can kill your if you’re not careful. Cuz you’re basically throwing up your insides uncontrollably and you can barely breathe. It also makes your vision blurry
U really cant compare jordan to anybody, theres a reason why hes the legend of ball, he may look like a casual superstar but hes honestly crazy when u see what hes done in his career
Maybe 6 rings with 2 other first ballot hall of famers. But it's Jordan we out repainted history to make him more of a icon cause he brought basketball back to mainstream when viewer ship was down.
I'm here because I saw something Written on the NBA Website that said and I quote: "Was Stephen Curry's Game 4 Performance the single greatest performance ever ?" W.T.F Sometimes I wonder How the NBA even dare to come up with this kind of stupid question. nobody can compare to Jordan.
he is the definition of ultimate competitor.... i think that's one quality that makes him the greatest basketball player to have ever played the game , you can see the same in his acceptance speech which i think many people don't get and criticize ...well that's who he is a man who will never back down and push the limits.... that's one reason he has a gambling addiction too lol
I relate this to what's going on with me right now as I am experiencing flu-like symptoms myself while I have 2 papers due in college in the next 4 days. I hope that I can be strong and pull through just like mj did.
