So amazing to see these young folks following in their parents or family footsteps!! Keeping the tradition Alive!! Good to see but makes you feel really OLD!!
I mean it’s practically forced upon them. The former players swear they have all the knowledge of the game now and they live vicariously through their kids.
Crazy to see a generation like Dikembe, Dominique, Scottie, Manute Bol with their kids the same age group as players who played two generations after them: Lebron, Wade, Melo, Eddie House, Crawford. Players of the 2000s started having kids early.
It just depends. Dell Curry played in the NBA from 1986-2002. Mychal Thompson played in the NBA from 1978-1992. Their sons, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, have been in the league for years.
You forgot that Mike Bibby Sr also had a dad (Henry Bibby) that played in the NBA who later became the head coach at USC . So Mike Bibby Jr could be the 3rd generation to play in the NBA if he makes it
😂 it's weird how none of Michael Jordan's sons are good enough to follow his footsteps, but the talent did a sidestep in the bloodline and went to his nephew😂
@@user-st7uy8wl3n Bronny is barely going to start playing college basketball next season. If his college season is a failure his draft stock will drop and he might not get drafted. Was Justin Jordan not good enough? Why would he need to buy his way into the NBA?
Appreciate all the work it took to make this video you forgetting one son that is playing in the NBA right now and headed to the Eastern conference finals and that's Jimmy Butler for the Miami Heat the son of Michael Jordan allegedly always thought Kwame Brown looked like like Michael Jordan too😂
@@ronaldvaughn7087 ummm Ja Morant is doing a helluva job to catch up .. but you’re literally hating not mentioning Bryant Reeves “Big Country” and Darko Milicic as worst picks ever .. the Pistons greatest pick ever …
Beautiful piece well done video I really like that you giving these young men and woman their props and due it's more then incouraging if any ones ever played any type of sports competition is at its best you have to bring your best game even if you don't have a dad or mom who played at a high level most of your best players athletes never had a parent play professional sports.
If anybody is wondering, his nephew Justin is now a scout for the Charlotte Hornets. So even though he didn't make the NBA as a player, he still made it and it's obvious why and how. His uncle is the owner and his dad is the vice president of players personnel. He's employed at the least. 🤷🏿♂️
Great job. You should do a segment on hoopers who have parents who are professional athletes not just NBA parents. For instance up and comer Koa Peat’s dad played 6yrs in the NFL and he also has a brother who plays for the Saints.
Much blessings to all the future NBA stars but much more for Derrick Roses’ son and Penny Hardaways’ sons and hope they will surpass their dads in skill and health.
Jaxon Richardson's older brother Jase is tough as hell too. I don't know if you have to be an NBA savant to know who Austin Croshere is maybe just a certain age. He had a nice Finals vs the Lakers and got paid handsomely for it. He'd fit in nicely today with his ability to knock down the 3
It's good to see NBA fathers being better dad's than MJ was. I think the only one who really passed that pepper on to his kids is bron. Both Bryce and bronny are gonna go far in the league it would be cool to see all of them in purple and gold.
