I was one of those trans kids. I was raised in an extremely rural town in the Midwest and moved to a big city for college. I believe it saved my life, in more ways than one. Not only did I now have access to trans friendly healthcare, but the state I moved too also had more lax laws on legal name/gender change requirements. I was also in an area where I could more safely transition without worrying about being hate crimed as much. To fellow queer people, if you feel unsafe, unseen, or alone in your small towns, and you feel like you want to leave...it’s 100% worth it.

I love how Knowles and the Daily Wire talk about “good women” like they’re a rare species that the large hordes of men, who are mostly good, need to seek out to be used for their pleasure and utility. Ah yes, the plight of men to find a “good woman” to be their barefoot domestic slave.

I live in Idaho, my eldest is Trans, we are literally looking at moving anywhere else for many reasons, but one HUGE one is our child's safety. Another is that more far right wing RICH conservatives are moving to the State and inflating the housing market to INSANE levels, in a State whose min wage is the Fed Min. Not to mention the White Supremacists who are protected in this State. Education? Idaho keeps cutting the education budget. 25-30 students per 1 Teacher has been the norm since I was a kid in the 80s. We are desperate to move, not because we hate the land, but because these forces are overwhelming. Our first choice? Somewhere in New York State. I cannot even tell you how much of a relief it would be to live in a Blue State.

I'm in support of this. There are a lot of Tinder profiles that say "Trump supporters, swipe left." I don't match with any conservatives. I'd be happy to have them all move off Tinder. It'll make it easier for me to find a good woman (or womxn, I guess). Also yes, Nashville is liberal, and Vanderbilt has opened a trans health clinic, but the rest of TN is awful.

This already reminds me of when Tomi Lahren was complaining about the dating scene. While dating can be challenging depending on what people are looking for and have access to, one definitely has a limited pool if they are a strict conservative, and a public figure at that.

I’m 16 just now, so at the time when I became really hateful, I was very easy to brainwash. I used to follow all of that stupid “facts don’t care about your feelings,” shit. Then my best friend trusted me enough to come out as bisexual and non binary to me, they are public about it now, I wouldn’t have shared that if they weren’t. I began to feel really depressed last year, and I tried to end it all. But they spoke to me nonstop for a week, and they basically saved my life. I realised then that I genuinely love them, it wasn’t just a stupid crush. They are the first person I really love, and I want to stay alive now, for them. Falling in love with someone, was the best thing that ever happened to me. I started opening my eyes to different viewpoints. That’s when I discovered your videos. I have been watching for a while now, and within the first two weeks, I had completely dropped the hate and the bigotry, and now I spend my time showing as much support to people as I can. Thank you for making me realise that little brainwashed me was a fucking idiot, who didn’t know shit about anything. I feel so much happier now, knowing I’m not that person anymore. It's interesting how it's always conservatives who complain that people don't want to date them based on their values. They often posit that it's stubborn and childish for progressive people to not want to date them for political reasons, and yet, I think it perfectly demonstrates how these conservatives regard their own values as superficial and unimportant. Why else would they WANT anything to do with progressives? I've never known a progressive person complain that they can't get a date with a conservative, but conservatives are CONSTANTLY whinging about progressives not wanting anything to do with them.

i grew up in east tennessee in a rather conservative (not rural conservative, it was rich white bigot conservative) area and it was miserable. my family moved to northeast Ohio (right outside Cleveland) and it's so so much better. I almost went to UTK which has consistently been listed as one of the most homophobic campuses in the country, but when i visited my current college i saw the LGBTQ center and knew i would never get that kind of support in tennessee, especially since i was newly out as trans and seeking medical transition.
