Many copies of manuscript for cross referencing is important especially when early christians do not have printing machine back then but mistakes might've occurred along the scribal process. This doesn't mean the whole context/message of the copies are changing due to typographical error.
This guy forgot to mention 94% of our New Testament manuscripts come from year 899CE and on and the 6% we do have are random fragments some as small as a credit card size

Nobody cares about Ehrman anyway with his outdated theories from the "Formkritik" of the 40s and the "introduction literature" to the gospels from the 70's. In all the debates I saw with Ehrman (and it was more than I care to admit) he never came up with one single argument going beyond those first semester tropes, which might be interesting to someone who never heard of those theories. Not ever mentioning all the holes of these theories - granted, the people he debates are often very low hanging fruit but so is he. The theology debates on RU-vid are at such a low level that I wonder how all these people got their "Ph D.s" and professorships.
If Erasmus had only a handful of those manuscripts to work with , how can that be an accurate reflection of the text of the Bible in the same way as the Critical Text? Is the TR idea needing a redefinition in light of more recent discoveries? Is WCF 1:8 incorrect to a degree ?
We don’t know what all Erasmus had. The big lie is that he only had a handful of copies with no evidence to the contrary. He had what was received throughout history as the text Christians used. It’s the critical text that’s been corrupted by Wescott and Hort and his minions.
P52 is tiny. It contains only a few verses from the Gospel according to John. An early date is 125 CE. It could be even from the beginning from the 3rd century.
Without accepting the authority of the Christian orthodox church, which preserved it, there is no rebuttal to the corruption. Erhman saw this and decided to reject the Bible. I, however, believe inspiration of scripture is concomitant with preservation and the correction of the text. It is a communal text interpeted and preserved by the Chrostian community.

Isaiah 29:12 is not a prophetic passage. Read in context please. That’s not even close to a prophesy of muhammed. The “prophet” in John was Jesus. The Jews were expecting a final prophet who would be the messiah, which was Christ Jesus. The Bible never mentions muhammed Now, going to your argument on the church fathers, it is incorrect. The NT cannon was there way before that meeting, in fact, 22 out of the 27 were canon early on. The gnostics were taken out due to them not being eye witness gospels That brings me to your claim about Mark and Luke. Luke says he got his info from eyewitnesses (Luke 1) and Mark was a scribe of Peter, an eyewitness. Jesus is the mediator between God and man, not muhammed. Jesus died for your sins. There is one God, and He sent Jesus to die for you. He loves you.

Check out Yaser Qadi... holes in the Quran. Might set the record straight for you. By the way, because Uthman burned so many texts of the Quran you don't have the same wealth of textual evidence like the Bible.

No he just had it memorized, constantly held people accountable to it, quoted it, and said things like, "have you not read what God spoke saying..." Then he quoted scripture! He quoted it in the wilderness. He said "man does not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." He called it the Law the prophets and the writings. And on and on. Just exactly what are you talking about anyway?
