What I really meant was that “The Dynasty” (both the book & the series) was part of a push by Robert Kraft to get into the Hall of Fame before he became just another owner. Ppl old to remember the Al Haig “I’m in charge” press conference have joked about that with the owner’s son taking charges of the Aaron Hernandez firing as if Belichick would’ve handled it incorrectly. The way they throw blame on to Bill for Hernandez is just one of the ways The Dynasty shafted Bill while promoting Kraft. Of course Bill fell into by being himself in interviews but he didn’t see this coming. Its release was perfectly timed for Bill’s firing. It misrepresents Spygate as well. Bill B did everything a coach could to win games after Brady left & he did it so well that even an average QB could’ve had them winning after Brady left (but not Super Bowls). They had an opportunity with that series to show some of genius of Belichick, Ernie Adams, & several of the coaches in winning games against better teams. Brady’s value was massive. IMHO having Brady allowed Belichick to game plan tight, low scoring games taking away what opponents did best. That’s because Brady could protect the ball & then when it execute a scoring drive when it mattered most. It takes a great QB to do that but it also a great coach.

@@BenArctic Sorry about writing half a book about Kraft, Belichick & Brady. I’m not a Pats fan but a fan of Brady & Belichick. Reminds me of Paul Brown & Otto Graham combo.
