My brother came up with a classic when he was 4. My Mum was putting on her makeup and he goes "what are you doing?" "Putting on my make-up" "Why?" "To make myself more beautiful" "Doesn't work, does it?"
I remember as a kid my stepdad and I would be sat downstairs ready to go waiting for my mum to finish getting ready when we were going out somewhere as a family and we'd be done so quickly and we'd shout up to her are you done yet? My mum would always answer in a minute which I knew meant another hour lol. Sometimes she'd shout I'm still putting my face on! As a kid I would shout back up to her and say: I didn't realise you could take your face off! 🤣

I feel your embarressment with the eyelashes, in school we drew siloutetes of everyone in class and i had the best eyelashes in the class. As a 13 year old boy i couldn't tell in it was an insult or a compliment, it came from everyone including the teacher and all the girls wished they had them lol thanks for bringing that memory back xD
I love their reviews from London even though Nick,consistently ,performs my pet hate., which is that it defeats the whole object of a fun tease, if the person doing the teasing feels compelled to say "I'm only kidding". I remember in the 1980's ,2 American Sister-In-Laws who were great friends and worked with us felt the need to do this. Why don't I like it? 3 reasons,especially coming from The UK where we tease our friends incessantly. 1/ They give the ,wrong,impression that the recipient is insecure and needs re-assuring that they were joking 2/ They think the recipient is UNintelligent and may not realise 3 /They think any audience is UNintelligent and,also, does not realise they are just having a laugh. CUT IT OUT ! ...."just kiddin"...😀

I do not know you from Adam, so you might have already known the correct way and it was merely a typo, which you could have then just said so. Alternatively, you might not have known and so now you do. If it was the latter and the roles were reversed, as long as you did not point out my mistake in a belittling or rude way, I would be glad of it being highlighted by you (or anyone else) so that I did not continue to repeat the same mistake. It is true how some Women ,completely,change their appearance. To my , uneducated, naked eye, a very attractive ,tall, friend of the last 29 years,looks totally different in around 50 separate ways ,and yet "appears" to use little make up. If Men are allowed an opinion,I would say that the vast majority of Men ,like only a little make up on a Lady and love the lovely,natural,feminine look while if Women are going out they like to "glam up".
Women like to glam up for themselves yes, as a woman I like going all out when I get a rare night out. It makes me feel good, I'm happy to wear minimal make up for a man the majority of the time if that's what he likes but my nights out are for me so I'm going to do what I want to do and what makes me happy.
My other half takes nearly two hours just getting ready for work, I won't mention how long it takes if on a night out apart from it takes less time Christmas shopping for 2000 people :) The one thing as a man should always remember is when she asks "Do I look OK"? Always say yes as if you say no world war 3 breaks out. This advice comes free from someone who has been with his partner for over 20 years and the scars are there for all to see :)
I have gloucoma so i have to use eye drops twice a day.the main side effect of them is they make my eye lashes grow thicker and longer. every 6 months when i get my eye test the nurses say i wish i had those. trust me they are not worth what it costs to get them.
My eyelashes are long and I wear glasses and it's not always the best combination, they sometimes rub in the glasses and it's this weird sensation, too close to my eyes I guess.

Make up useed to worn by men during the 18th century. Mainly on Royals and VIPs it was so expensive only the rich had the best make up. Even the poor and middle class men used poor quality make up, that was used to impress people on special occations. Obviisly the rich wore make up everyday. Make up fpr men then fell out of fasion for at least 300 years. Today men use make up, manily in the LBGT community. Hetrosexual just dont wear any today.
