You just changed my life! I’m a two finger hybrid claw grass style player and this just opened up the entire fretboard with variations on voicings I never thought of. Thanks Michael and Deering for these wonderful and informative RU-vids.

Excellent information. I'm relatively new to Banjo and 71 years old. I started my journey about two and a half years ago because I wanted to play like Pete Seeger. Claw hammer is for me. I play a small amount of Bluegrass Rolls ( Forward, Reverse, Alternating) but my interest in Folk music takes me to Claw Hammer most often. I seen a video of Michael playing Kingston Trio's MTA with another fellow and they had just what I was looking for. So all things Michael J Miles has become my go too. These lessons of his for Deering have opened up fabulous possibilities for me as a newcomer. Thanks to Deering for selecting him as their workshop leader!
