"wenn, if Angela Merkel" haha :D Happend a lot to me to when i worked in Ireland. Things like "achso" or "genau" are words that will sometimes just fall out of your mouth when you speak english
Yeah, I didn‘t know that, but when I‘ve spoken with a french friend, he suddenly said to me: „Ach so, Ach so, Ach so“ even if he doesn‘t know some single word german. So funny! And I suddenly realized, how often I use this word!
I know of no other non-native speaker who is so funny in meiner Muttisprache.. Hut ab...mütig und gelungen!!
There are some people who say the Germans are always so serious and can`t be funny that`s total nonsense there are all lot of good comedians in Germany and also people with whom you can have a lot of fun , laugh and party. Michael Mittermeier is one of the best comedian of Germany i like him very much.🤣😂👍
heheh, I remember my ex and I talking about listening to German conversation as very young kids. she used to hide when people were speaking German and laughing and getting excited about whatever, she thought they were fighting. I miss German family coming for month visit and travel with. God I miss them. I know some still are there, but who remains are nearly strangers.
Saku Yuu that reminds me of a newspaper article some time ago, in the Pforzheimer Zeitung. First some background info: In the evening of February 23, 1945 the city of Pforzheim was anihilated by a massive British air raid (-> Moral bombing strategy), 17400 civilians, mainly women, children and old people (all men between 16 and 60 had been drafted to serve at the front at this point) were killed in horrible ways like burning alive, being squashed by rubble or suffocating in underground air raid shelters. Of those roughly 850 heavy bombers carrying out the attack three were brought down by anti aircraft guns or nightfighters during the attack. Three of the 7 crew members of one of these bombers could bail out before it exploded. They landed near the village of Hohenwart, in the outskirts of Pforzheim, where they were captured, placed in front of a wall and shot on the spot. The newspaper article now was about the setup of a bronze memorial in Hohenwart, for these three bomber crew members, and the entire article depicted it, as if that had been a terrible crime, and that we all have to feel guilty for that. Of course it is never good to kill someone, but it was war, they were enemy soldiers. And in the light of what these men had done just minutes before, the people's reaction was quite understandable. Many of them had had friends or family in Pforzheim.
ElParodista Gee, did she make a JOKE? In the comments of a COMEDY RU-vid vid? How dare she??? (In any case, it sure felt like guilt lessons. For five effin' years.)
Nemo Holemaker Yea, pretty much that. When I was in 10th grade (our third year of guilt lessons), three boys from my school were almost expelled because they hit a younger boy and the boy came crying to the headmaster claiming "they did it just because I'm a Jew!" The headmaster and our teachers were so enraged they didn't even allow the boys to speak for themselves. I, though, had seen what had happened, which was that the boy had teased, punched and insulted the three boys from my class over a course of weeks until they finally decided that enough was enough. But the boy claiming to be a Jew was enough to make everyone assume he could be nothing but a victim. That's how deep German guilt goes even today. Also, to add insult to injury, it turned out that the boy wasn't Jewish at all.
Danke, viel spas! other than himmelkreutzdonnervetternacheinmal, I don't feel comfortable yelling my drie jahre alt kinder Deutsche sprechen style. hehe, wonderful skit, thanks for the laughs.
+maximumrisk2004 yeah... like the US and kanada or the UK and Irland... There is a difference we might speak the same language, to be honest it often isnt even the same language because of all the dialects, it is defenitly not the same...
Tar-Minyatur I. Sorry to burst that bubble, but I am a Austrian that has been mistaken for a German his whole life. What is so vastly different in your opinion?
Awwww...I'm a bit disappointed. In Germany/Austria he tells the same car joke with an Austrian knocking on his window. =D Always thought it could be authentic because he sounds like on eof my brothers when he tell the story.^^ *lol* Anyway he's definitely one of my favourite comedians. He's so funny! =D

Shame it's all about being German and Nazi's, etc. I know he is a really funny and talented comedian so it would be great if he showed more of that. :)
not too bad! Except for one thing, the car story is the exact same joke from one of his earlier programs he did in Austria. He just translated it in english.
His thick German accent is vital to his sketches, if he spoke without any accent many of his jokes would backfire. I suppose he speaks this way on purpose.
Fischers Fritz fischt frische Fische. Frische Fische fischt Fischers Fritz. Sagen sie diesen ZB auf Bayrisch 😅
