It's ok, we know you're referring to Vince Neil of Motley Crue who hasn't met a meal he didn't like. Much love and respect to Mike Monroe who still sounds great onstage.
@@bloodguts6786 It’s not only him. Many of them have lost it, including some of the biggest names like Jon Bon Jovi ja DLR. Motley Crüe today is just playback and frontman completely out of energy. It makes me respect those who still can do it. Mike, Sammy Hagar, Geof Tate…
Michael Monroe and his band are the only band I've ever seen wear the crowd out, so much energy and so much love and respect for the fan's, a true legend that should have been massive world wide.
When he disappeared for years after the death of his drummer, I'll never forget an interview he did with MTV. They asked him what was his low point and he said he was walking down the street in the Bowery of NYC and walked past a couple guys. One of the guys said to the other one "hey, that looked like Michael Monroe". His buddy replied, "nah, what would he be doing down here?".
Thank you for this interview! I have loved Michael Monroe forever, and as a fellow cat lover, I love that he has two cats! He is such a talented, cool artist. I can’t wait for the documentary!
Back in 1994 my old band opened for Michael Monroe at L'amour in Brooklyn. Sebastian Bach and his wife at the time were in the audience. I always assumed they were close friends.
Consider myself pretty damn lucky as I saw Hanoi Rocks at the wardour street marquee back in the day. Didn't know then how important they'd become. Great band.
If razzle never died they would’ve taken the world by storm. They were on the cusp of a huge breakthrough it sucks dude. They had the potential of being 1000 times bigger than motley and Vince had to fuck it all up
Well I clicked on the link to purchase the LP of this demolition 23 and i clicked on the US link for target & amazing both offer it for sale. However the “product is not available currently available at this time”.
Knew a guy that worked for him in the late 80s, early 90s. He told me he was very straight and also a bit of a germphobe, not anything like the wild rocker thing. At least that's what I heard.
One of my favorite Hanoi Rocks songs are Tragedy , 11th Street Kids, Malibu Beach, and Michael Monroe songs Dead Jail or Rock and Roll and Why are you looking at me? It would be really awesome if Michael Monroe and Sebastian Bach would sing and song together.
Not unusual at all to not drive/have a car in European cities. Good public transport. I met Mike briefly in Stockholm back in the 90s and he seems super cool.
Yep, Volvo 200-serie ,slippery Winter on Hill near his village place cottage -97-98 about, some story read of that problem..on Centrum he had also cops caught, car driving license without..was on news Back then..but good choice warm car until that..was so cold that his hair freezed to wall(interview on Finnish TV,Hytönen show..)
Unlike America, socially advanced countries like Finland have comprehensive public transit systems and bike lanes. I WISH I didn't need to be paying current gas prices.
There are all different levels in music. Some make it some don’t. Some are known some aren’t. And there is those that should have made it and some that did that don’t deserve it. !!!
If i were around you for 1 day i'd be depressed with that attitude, go listen to the mainstream radiocrap if you want the platinum records, or even better try make one yourself if it's that easy ;)
