Great work, I use that same DIY blend for fake blood and it works great! Dries glossy and you can alter the color darker with a drop of green or blue food coloring. It also peels right off if you decide to remove it
I like that your channel has a ramen noodle budget theme. I repainted masks on a humble budget myself. I used a harbor freight airbrush and made some real magic happen.
Hi Brandon. I really liked the kills mask. But it sucks that TOTS didn't release a 78 flashback mask too. I loved the 78 flashback scenes. I would've loved to see you repaint one of those.
I'm sure you were asked before but I couldn't find an answer. Would you do a 2018 for commission? Exactly the way you did yours on the Oct 10, 2018 video. I don't have the artistic freelance skills to do the repaint so I'd rather someone who knows what they are doing, do it and the one you did in that video was amazing!
Did you really use liquid latex in your wash? Once the wash dries you it won’t wipe off… even with rubbing alcohol. At least it wouldn’t for me. Had better results with no latex in the wash. But I might’ve done something wrong. This is all new to me. Great video!!

not bad dude great job mine is currently similar to this one in the video before you painted it I will attempt mine soon just need some tips on mixing the right amount of latex in the paint because my airbrush clogs up.
id say to use a bitt more khaki yellow ish under the burns, but you do you. (mix khaki with a bit of white, 1 part paint, 1 part distilled water and 1 part liquid latex)
Would it be possible to rehaul/convert a Kills mask into a 2018 mask? I ask because the 2018/H40 mask is a bit notorious for being on the small side. The Kills masks tend to be a little bit bigger and the measurements check out for me.
when i do the black mud wash and try to remove it, no matter how much pressure I apply to the alcohol pad I end up removing the white base coat... do you need or use a sealer for the white coat? thanks!
What paints would I buy and could you just enhance the cracks without painting entire mask , Meaning I see some people paint it all white then brown then wipe off and add black . Come out unreal we’ll done
I think clear gloss skin illustrator liquid would make the yellow and black side look more like the crispy picture. a shiny melted latex with making it look fake

Can you tell me what the products are and can you put in the links on where to find the products because I have the Halloween kills trick r' treat studios mask but It needs a make over badly not saying it's horrible I'm saying it's good but needs to look like the movie mask
U need white paint, black paint, brown paint, liquid latex. Paint brushes, black and brown artist oils. Yellow paint, fx blood, black chalk dust. Khaki and beige paints too. Oh! And a lot of pateince.you also need clear gloss for the burnt side.
If you don't use liquid latex and just acrylic paint, it will crack overtime and paint will fall off, unless you use this stuff called plasti-dip, for the price I would just use latex
Please respond if you can I was doing a rehaul and did a lil too much black on the mask and it’s just too much stuff I did and I wasn’t really prepared so I’m wondering if I can restart by just adding another white latex layer and starting over
That's why I never use black for washes. You can go extremely dark gray to where it looks black and that's good, but for some reason plain black is just way too bold.
@@10HALLOWEEN31 use a real dark gray. You can mix it with black to darken it to the point where it looks black to the eye, but you want to avoid using plain black. You can mix brown also so it doesn't look monochromatic. But yeah, avoid using plain black.
@@b3nnyboyy acrylic/latex paint mixed with mostly water so it can run down into the cracks and details on the mask. Let it sit for a minute then wipe clean lightly so that it remains in the details but comes off the high features. If it sticks too much and isn't coming off enough then use a little naphtha on a cloth and wipe very lightly
Looks good personally don't like the yellow the reason its there on the Christopher Nelson rehaul is because I think he rushes it but still that rehaul looks awesome
