“Why does our dad have to embarrass us all the time” .. I asked myself this same question as a kid. Lol As an adult though, I’m so grateful he did. I can look back and see he was always trying to teach us not to care what other people thought of us at a time when we thought that was the most important thing in the world. Bless you all. With her constantly belittling him and calling him an Idiot and how embarrassing he is in front of the kids is going to rub off on the kids and they will repeat what she says Just like the kid said in the car.. Let the man have some fun he's not hurting anyone and he's funny as hell and it will let the kids have fun and grow up with a sense of humor.. I actually cringe when I hear her voice now.
Yeah I think he's funny but I don't think her response is funny at all. And I don't think she's doing her kids a lot of good either . She sounds really angry. In her belittling him in front of her kids is definitely not showing a healthy relationship. If they're that far apart in their values and likes, they might want to consider making it official. Otherwise all they're going to be exposing their kids to is a toxic relationship.
