Superb performances & good value 4 any fan of Mr Nyman's music. Well made & presented piece of art, the only thing missing was a personal appearance from Peter Greenaway, but I didn't see him in the audience...

I got this DVD & wd observe that Michael Nyman may have been pricked by folks who see his early work as more 'derivative' of Purcell & baroque. Galling to be praised, but not 4 yr originality, yr validity as a writer with yr own distinct style. MN has been playing & no doubt replaying his most popular material 4 many years & seems to rush through 'set pieces' from 'Draughtsman's C.' & 'P's Books' but linger on less popular recent material as if he has a point to prove.
