Gloria and Olivia fangirling over each other... (Love how Olivia calls her "Ms Swanson' - Gloria smiling at the respect) in the most polite way... they're both so delightful and gorgeous. Livvy singing live. And Parky, Livvy and Ms Swanson cracking up over Dame Edna. Just fabulous.
I'm very pleased that someone still has this episode, but why oh why did you cut Dame Edna’s entrance where she threw gladioli to the audience. The look on Gloria Swanson's face was what made it!
I remember vividly watching this at the time (my first experience of watching Dame Edna and my whole family screamed with laughter). Can’t believe so much time has gone by, I was 16 then and now you can flip those digits. R.I.P. to all you wonderful voices from the past.
thank you very much for sharing, i think anyone who sits on the same show as Dame Edna deserves a medal, you just can't beat the Moonee Ponds Dame, cheers
I find it very sad that they have all gone now, such talent, but there it is we all get old. In the beginning to the end, it’s what happens in the middle that counts and we just must get on with it.😢
All gone now, so sad. By the time my kids are middle aged most people won’t have a clue who they were. Sarah Bernhardt was a superstar most would now respond with Sarah who?
Go back and listen to those three big hits now. You know Peter Allen opened a lot of doors for Olivia. And when she teamed up with Jeff Lyne it went ballistic. She was lucky but she used her luck
It's just ridiculous how pretty Olivia was here. Nobody cuter then or now. They say everyone has a doppelganger...Well, Olivia doesn't! And of course she had a voice, personality, and heart to match. Interesting to hear her voice getting this raspy. She must have been really working hard during this time, and this song is E X T R E M E L Y difficult to sing as well. Anyway, this is a real gem of a video ..thanks for sharing.
We were so lucky to have these 3 great artists who have now departed our world they had wonderful lives they'll be missed terrbly thanksforposting this program 😢😢😢😢😢
RIP to "Parky"....but i always think of my dad, as we used to watch "Parkinson" religiously, but im sure it was so my dad could see how many times he touched or scratched his nose..."go on touch your nose" my dad would cry...then when he did my dad would go "wahhhhey" followed by the number, in order, of times he touched it during the episode
Two iconic moments in pop culture with ONJ that I will never forget: 1. Michael Jacksons "Liberian Girl" video. 2.Backstage footage from Madonna's "Truth or Dare: In Bed With Madonna"!
