Singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Filacio does a song he wrote for his very best friend. They were choir buddies and sole brothers. Columbia Records expressed a desire to present Pete (who usually performs and records as a solo artist) as an “Italian Shel Silverstein.” Cameron Crowe compared his musical lyrics to Shel Silverstein, while Glen Ballard referred to his music as "passionate". He sings and plays the guitar and mandolin fearlessly with great passion! Peter Ray also wrote the majority of songs and sang for San Diego's Homegrown albums, the single largest local album sold. His newest CD "Sunshine Sessions" (produced & co-written by Vince Traber) is an Americana treasure, a great addition to any music lover's collection.
