@@StudMacher96 You mean the scene that lasted literally seven seconds? I would presume you would also like straight kisses banned from kids films as well then.
This guy seems like he would've made for a good grand dad for his grand kids his mannerisms and his over exaggerated behaviour would've cracked me up as a kid and it still does now
Thankfully Michael Rosen is still going strong (making a hard but excellent recovery) after surviving induced coma in the first Covid wave. You’re absolutely right though!😊
@@therocketmanarch i still don't understand how a emotion can have emotions especialy if it's a JOY emotion beig SAD!? do they have emotions in their heads which have emotions in their heads that hav- you get the point
Im gonna say Monster U is boring but I also thoroughly enjoyed it. Also the message is a gutpunch which was nice for once to experience a pixar movie with a message I didnt predict from the start.
Honestly the ending makes it worth it. Its a standard college movie before that and it almost seems like the whole point of the movie is to tear down these two people who we know are best friends later on in their lives. Not to mention its an important lesson that Disney themselves literally deny: “you can do anything if you wish and work hard enough”. And even though that lesson is already powerful enough, they hit you with another one that isn’t talked about much either: Bias and Preconceived Notions. Sully may be gifted but he never earned it, and he also has a lot of eyes on him to become one of the best of the best. The pressure he feels is almost unbearable to the point he resorts to scheming do to his fear of failure
This is the BEST Michael Rosen crap video ive ever seen lol, plus it actually got me interested in watching Michael rosen videos, he looks like a really funny guy who actually cares about children and giving them quality content 😁
Of all the Pixar films, Onward hit he hardest. The themes in the movie speak to me on a personal level. Same with the video game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
and then he started crying again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again
i didn't hear about buzz lightyear finally realising his chemistry and comradery with woody cowboy was something different than friendship, i think i might actually be interested in seeing that
Imo people who say TS4 is even close to bad are still hungup on 3 being the true ending of whatever I love pretty much all the TS movies for different reasons and think 4 is amazing. Can't disagree that 3 would have been a good ending to the franchise but 4 feels like a second, true sendoff for woody and is overall really well done
@@Connerthespider what does marvel have to with this, they made one movie that was mainly a comedy so now the franchise is gonna start making rated g films?
@@itzallup2me I said additionally, please read, I’m getting tired of people missing important details in what I’m saying I know, but those R rated movies will probably stop coming Thor Ragnarok was a movie that balanced dark and funny moments, and people really liked that, but Marvel thought “what if we made it funny with a little dark? That’s why Thor 4 is how it is (It’s also not the first time, the ‘Party Thor’ episode of What If was the first example of this shift)
Cars 2 is basically "Mater's Tall Tales" in movie form, not that interesting IMO Which is why I prefer Cars 1 & 3. As for Lightyear, It feels more like a reboot/remake of the film Andy supposedly saw as a child, not to mention how there was *Spoiler Alert* no explanation for there being another Buzz Lightyear from the future.
um it was explained yeah. Spoilers below: Basically future Buzz was from a timeline which didn't have zurg in... hence why future Buzz didn't get the same heroic kind of reception and had to escape which resulted in him finding the technology to go back in time, hence him becoming zurg and being in our Buzz's present.
Okay, I mean it already does so that's a fairly useless opinion. Come to think of it that should really be a reply to someone else, not a standalone comment, then you'd actually get to directly make the point to someone who you know disagrees with you.
I love these vids as a movie lover honestly, keep making them!! And make some on A24 films! That would be great! Also, I think lightyear shouldn't have but the LGBTQ content, not because I'm homophobic, its just that kids may feel uncomfortable with it and its not really neccessary.
Word to the wise: If you start a statement with "I'm not homophobic/racist/sexist/bigoted in some way" it is ALWAYS going to sound like a cover for being bigoted in that specific way. You don't get to be the judge of how discriminatory you are or aren't. And for the record, a same-sex kiss should in no way be considered more unnecessary and uncomfortable than a male-female kiss.
@SomeChristianDude You don't say! It's almost as if organised religion has a history of discrimination against LGBT groups, justified by choosing a mistranslation of a Leviticus verse over Jesus' entire doctrine of love and tolerance!
Lmao, why does everyone keep their mouths shut over any other type of relationship; but LGBTQ+ ones are where you guys need to make a "statement"? "I'm not racist! I have black friends!" Are we gonna go the way of Obi-Wan and start blaming the writing next? Anything to try and avoid saying we're homophobic I guess.
I was quite disappointed with lightyear. I am strongly against anything LGBTQ+, but that’s not why lightyear was disappointing. It seemed to be much less of a Buzz Lightyear origin story, and more of……I honestly don’t know what. The whole movie seemed to orbit( get it, it’s a space movie 🤪) around gay themes. I just think that if I’d been more oriented towards Buzz Lightyear and less toward the gay character(s) then it would’ve been way better. Kinda like Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. That movie had gay themes in it, but it wasn’t the core of the movie, so it was really good bc it wasn’t washing out the story. I think that’s the biggest thing that bugged me with Lightyear, the political lgbtq+ themes completely drowned out the story.
@@kodeczora1338 Currently, I think the biggest thing wrong with it is how it seems to be taking over things that started out, and in my opinion should stay, innocent childhood stories. Like I said in my comment about the Lightyear movie, it annoyed me that what seemed to be a movie about one of Disney's heros that many people loved when they were younger, and still do, turned into a political statement. The fact that I am personally against LGBTQ+ doesnt have any effect on my feelings about the Lightyear movie. Even if I did support it, I would still be disappointed that the entirety of the Lightyear story came from people's political views instead of the origin of a beloved childhood hero. So thats the main thing that I think is wrong with lgbtq+. Did that answer your question? If you respond to this, I will reply as soon as I can.
