@@reader-mx9ss , yes, I understand completely but do we really need that annoying "music" throughout the entire show to remind us that this is a carnival atmosphere? I'm surprised that the host isn't riding a carousel continually while wearing a clown costume to "remind" us as well.
Interesting video but as a resident of Orkney I was constantly jarred by the stock footage of hunting in mature woodland. Trees are very rare in Orkney. Even the Papdale Woods mentioned in the video are only just over an acre of shrubbery and low trees.
I'm surprised that the Army didn't find out he was a racist. How on earth did he get the weapons from supplies without the Army finding out? Very worrying. I think he'll always be a danger to society Thank you for this
Stating no one knew sort of makes me laugh, as a newbie Ferry Louper back in 2003 I was told that it was an open secret for decades that the perpetrator was known but 'protected' due to the job of a close relative. ;)
I agree, its really tiresome when they repeat the same info over and over, and sometimes saying it really slow, just in case you missed them saying it the previous 32 times!
The police could have got a search warrant for Eddie Ross's House after the sighting in the woods and there was a discrepancy in the number of boxes - if they had wanted to!
And it's MALfeasance NOT Misfeasance!!! (Misfeasance is the act of engaging in an action or duty but failing to perform the duty correctly. Misfeasance refers to an action that is unintentional. However, malfeasance is the willful and intentional act of doing harm.)
When did it become your job to correct the masses?... Do you lecture at Harvard ?....you are an arrogant narcissists ....your on RU-vid with the rest of us watching crime shows...get over yourself.
FFS, there is no such thing as the "Isle of Orkney". Orkney is an archipelago of islands, none of which hold the name "Orkney". Kirkwall is on Orkney's *Mainland*.
I don't know how the author could make such a mistake. The first thing I was taught at school was that Orkney is not a single island but an archipelago. The teacher would remind us every day of this fact and made us promise to never make such an egregious error. No wonder you are enraged at such a blatant mistake. This has ruined the whole story for me too. My one question is if Orkney is an archipelago how can it have a mainland?
@@davidc3839 The largest landmass is called the "mainland". This is true for the island of Great Britain when you're on one of the British Isles. When you're on Jura, the "mainland" is Great Britain. When you're on one of the Orkney Isles, "mainland" refers to the largest island (that also carries the name). Technically, the Orkneys and the Shetlands are sub-archipelagos within the larger archipelago of the British Isles.
@33:00...."Kept up the pretence of being a decorated War Hero"?.... Really? I don't think there was any "pretence" concerning his Military service, regardless of whatever else he may have done.
The strangest part of this doc yo me was the fact that he was planning to take his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend into the forest to 'teach them a lesson' and scare them. He CLEARLY acted entitled and didn't take rejection well. How could he think that was normal? I thought it was one of the biggest red flags in the story! 😬🤣
The only comment I would add is towards the beginning of this episode relating that a 15-year-old doesn’t really understand the meaning of taking of one’s life… Ross was a psychopath in the making. Shameful.
OMLord, What He did, at 15y.o. And After his Military service is Beyond a thouroughly Shocking Disgrace, horrifying actually. Sounds tragically like psychopathy brought on by his family environment… a lesson for All parents, Be Careful What You Wish For.
It amazes how these peopel find small alaces in the West.... I do not know every small town and village in Asia or Middle East or Africa.... Ireland is now has mass immigration from all over the world, especially Africa and Middle East and Asia... even small villages have more foreigners than native people
@@orionxtc1119 No, small UK villages do not have more foreigners than natives. That’s ridiculous. Fifteen percent of British population are immigrants.
There aren't many 9mm pistols left in greater london, I can't imagine there were 100's on Orkney. As for 9mm being common in India? Nope...how did the police let the old man test fire weapons? Evidence wouldn't be admissible anyway
Tooooooo strange, who cares about 1994, it's 2024 right now! There seems to be a lot of shockwaves that went through Britain and Great Britain back years ago!
