Aleks was squirming in his seat when Saylor was giving him the “There doesn’t need to be any losers” pitch. Good people need to build these new systems so that we don’t copy/paste the old broken systems. I’m personally grateful for Aleks and several other guys in the Bitcoin family for opening my eyes a bit and helping expand my understanding of economics and morality alike.
Does anyone think copy trading is still a thing? I know it made a lot of easy millionaires when it was a trend some years back. When it was made especially popular by the concept of social trading in Etoro, it got me wondering if this method still works. My portfolio is drifting terribly far from safe waters lately. I'm really looking for a lifeline.
What matters is not so much the technology as it is how you use it. 90% of all trades made by hedge funds and investment firms are traded algorithmically. It's just a tool or concept for high frequency trading on a lot of accounts concurrently.
@Animal Planets I tried it and I do have my regrets. Sure, it has nice traders, but I got burned a number of times due to their lack of consistency. It's more like a hub for one-hit wonders. If you get lucky, you go green when you subscribe to a hot trader, and then you lose all your profits the next week. My aim just got defeated for me.

I always love listening to Michael Saylor and I learn a lot from him! Allowing him to speak freely during the interview is the best way to "interview" him. He says so much that's impacting & educational, where the interviewee is best to LISTEN, learn and not be so consumed with trying to figure out when you can get "your point" in. To me, Alex seemed tuned out at times, if not most of the time. Like he got lost with the (incredible) answer Michael gave and yet he wasn't listening. Michael not only answered the first question Alex asked, he actually broke it down with scenario's, examples to really help us understand the difference with money & currency (which was the interviewee's question) and then Alex opens up and says, "...we've gone on a number of tangents there...". What?? Who says that to your guest when all he did was answer your question?! Lol That's when I wanted to "tune out" and yet I stuck around because I learn a lot from Saylor. It just came off rude to sum up Saylor's answer as him going on "tangents". Regardless, I learned a lot from Saylor once again. I also liked how Saylor brought up concerns & conversations that we need to have when it comes to figuring out safe ways to pass down generational wealth of Bitcoin to family, as well as ways to insure your Bitcoin where if something happens to you then next steps are in place if you're unable to decide. Important things to talk about. I love everything that Bitcoin Magazine and Michael Saylor is doing for Bitcoin and people...and for that reason I'm thankful for this interview.

If Michael Saylor was the President, I would suddenly have a new respect for the "Nation State". This is the best I've seen of Michael's deep understanding of how the future adoption of bitcoin should be promoted. Please keep on teaching the "Good News" ..Michael 😍
Michael Saylor is right in almost every way here. It is a continuum. I also hold the opinion that it is beneficial for anyone to see how corrupt the banks are, all the crimes they’ve committed, and the evidence of of their sleazy and irresponsible behavior in the past. Anyone who understand how bad banking has been historically, and opts into bitcoin as a result, is in the right. And it’s still beneficial to the network, just different motivations. Bitcoin is technically better money and it will continue to be adopted in so many ways for so many reasons. Just keep accumulating and self-custody bitcoin / keys. Do your personal best to help the network in some ways if you can. The rest will fall into place over time imo
People accuse Saylor of using his intellect to PUMP BTC but they fail to realize he used his intellect to BUY bitcoin. His amount of wealth secured him a life of luxury without taking any risks. The risk he's taking with BTC is possible martyrdom to advance individual property rights and preserve its global value.
Even if Bitcoin goes to zero, he was completely right in everything he said. Everyone is getting wiped out in all asset classes. People better gain some backbone and quit selling everything off. Great for me, I'm buying shit cheap.

Great interview as usual. I agree, there are no enemies. With respect to custody, trust and inheritance I'm really impressed with the Trezor Model-T implementation of Shamir Secret Sharing. Especially their implementation of Super Shamir. I'm familiar with multisig, which I also think is excellent. But the ability to decentralize trust with Super Shamir it's phenomenal. It can become tedious. But it's also a lot of fun, and extremely powerful..👏👍🤠🗽🧡🦅🚀♾️
