Keke Rosberg and Michael Schumacher - great champions of two generations, in the same endurance race.

Kinda sad that Schumi didn`t take the offer from Audi for 2007 and on, a multiyear deal to race in DTM and Le Mans.

Ironic. Schumacher began his racing career with Mercedes at Le Mans, he ended his career at Mercedes in F1.

That's the bit between the first chicane, and the Esses before Tertre Rouge. The Dunlop bridge is still in the same place.

@@CraigPaulWilson I've been wondering about this and I've been comparing the historic circuit layouts on Wikipedia, but I haven't noticed any changes in this area. Where can I find out about what they changed here?
@CraigPaulWilson
@CraigPaulWilson 3 месяца назад
@@Catcrumbs if you look at the pre 2001 version, the bit between the Dunlop chicane and the Esses is arrow straight. The post 2001 version bends slightly left and slightly right before hitting the Esses.

It’s the crest of the hill just past the old Dunlop curve. The run through there, down through the esses to Tertre Rouge was much more interesting then.
