@@one-of-a-kind-h "you had to be there" is basically saying "sorry, it was super funny in context, but explaining it all just wouldn't be funny"- which makes sense, because in the scene they were all faking it. there was no original joke to explain. but michael doesn't recognize it's an idiom, and takes it literally. "you had to be there? oh, geography!"

Bacon is usually cured which means it has a longer shelf life and is exempt from many food safety rules. If you order bacon on a burger just know they make a bunch in the morning and leave it sitting out all day.

Ryan started the fire of Michael's love toward him from Day 1 and Michael's ploy to take it to the next level by having Ryan come in early to deliver his breakfast and encourage him to take his pants off and run around the office seemed foolproof to Michael, but instead turned into proof of the fool that is Michael. 2:22
