Fun fact, he was leaving for whatever reason and when he announced it, nobody seemed to care to him. So, he ended up leaving. He came back later for the end because he realized that wasn’t the case. I found that on a video a while ago so i don’t know how accurate I’m being.
@@4tchilling956 the joke is that David is so used to Michael calling for the dumbest things that he genuinely though michael might have called him, his boss at work, because he was choking on tiramisu. obviously explaining the joke makes it less funny but still a joke
You forgot the scene where he’s eating ramen to better relate to everyone, the scene where Ryan cuts up pills into Michael’s pudding, and the scene where Michael orders the gabagool.
1:30 Michael's choking because there was a hair on the tiramisu from the dustbin. That's why he later says "we don't throw out perfectly good tiramisu simply because it has a hair on it". Man, the Office pays a lot of attention to detail.
ACTUALLY... he was choking on the chocolate dusting. he didn't know it had been thrown away because Pamcake was being spiteful toward Jimothy. he assumed it had been tossed because as he ate it, he found the hair. Hilarious coincidence, artfully written, as always. 🤣♥️

I love how toby was the only one to genuinely say happy birthday and (again) michael shuts him down. Toby isnt a bad guy hes just not made to be a likeable character and because most viewers (whether consciously or subconsciously) side with michael, there is something very natural about not liking toby XD
