When Trina DeWitt, a best-selling novelist, informs her ne'er-do-well husband she has filed for a divorce, her spouse reacts violently. In the ensuing struggle the man falls on the ice pick that he twisted from his wife's hand. When the police arrive at the scene of the accident, they find no evidence of a body, or even a struggle, and are also not inclined her story that someone has broken into her wall safe and stolen all her negotiable bonds and jewelry.

Yes, the wordplay was good: aspirations => aspersions congenital friends => congenial friends exotic dancer => ecdysiast I had to look up the last one. So, what do you want - poetry? Go Go Wilder was my favorite character. But, Nora had a good line: I told you, I'm lovable!

Priceless these old series so good to see instead of the crap today. Have not watched TV for 2yrs Old repeats of boring predicable over paid actors drove me to unplug the TV only watch Ytube.

What is the car at the very beginning 0:24 ? The lines of the car are similar to the Jaguar XK-120 or 140, but the hood is different.

I'm apparently the only one in the country who cares bout things like this, but this epi is from Feb 1961. Richard Denning reminds me of Robert Young and Lex Barker.

Richard Denning was the Chief Commissioner in Hawaii Five O With Jack Lord. Both died within months of each other. Jack was cremated and ashes scatted over the ocean near his home. Richard also lived in Hawaii and was buried in a military grave. Great actors Great Series. The remake was an absolute disaster rather insulting actually Danno was a quite dude who always was told by Steve too "Book em Dano. Great Series

9:48 better than average faint. Much better than catching herself with her arms and slowly sinking to the floor or falling on a soft bed or sofa. If her head didn't smack the floor the sound effects director needed a raise.

Those Oldsmobile 98s were rare especially the convertibles. The transmissions were the weak point.

Shayne is NOT a good listener, Trina did NOT report a Murder! she reported an accidental death and he is convicting his client without even knowing for sure that anyone is even dead, I think I would have went to Jessica Fletcher if I was her, Jessica never would have done that🤣🤣🤣🤣

No 911 calls when these were made. Shayne has to dial the 7 digit local police number. I guess most people would have dialed 0 and had the operator call the cops for them.
