If you’re wondering what Mickey’s saying at the beginning and end of each talk, it is:
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

Thank you. I am trying to love someone who is so insecure to receive my love. It was so hurting to be confronted with his paranoia that I’m cheating… I simply send him a picture of me having lunch with a girl friend.. I even had to bear his insecurity of whether he paranoid of me being lesbian… I really had enough. But I remember someone said to me, if someone hurt you, it’s not your fault, it’s him that’s incapable of loving because didn’t have enough love in childhood, so it’s hard to give. So like Michael shared, it is what it is, I’m letting go and I hope gradually my consciousness won’t even be pulled by such noises. Love and peace❤️

Really helpful, too, to not analyze the other person, too; that's all speculation. Most productive to ask oneself why one is trying to force another person to act and be like one has decided they should be so that oneself is ok

Again I agree with you, but I feel like there is some misconception when you say that the experience one is having has nothing to do with them. What is outside of them is essentially neutral, the meaning that they give to the experience is completely up to the individual having the experience. Meaning, that the experience one is having has everything to do with them based on their beliefs perceptions and attitudes. So it's not just a simple matter to say that life is happening to them, as you sort of indicate when you say that life has nothing to do with them. When it rains one day, someone could say that the weather is gross, it's awful, it's cold, it's whatever. Then next week when it rains again they could say that it's beautiful, and refreshing, and wonderful.... The rain never changed but their perception of it did. So the experience that they are having had everything to do with them and their perception of the neutral event. Perhaps I'm just missing something when listening to your teachings, or its very possible we are probably stating the same thing put in a different way. Because I find it hard to believe that we could be so far off on this one little aspect of the concept of experiencing reality, when everything else that you say I totally resonate with and agree with.

I think Mickey would agree with you 100%. When he says the weather has nothing to do with you, he means you didn't cause the weather. Meteorological factors caused it to rain today, not you. He would agree 100% that people's beliefs, perceptions and attitudes determine how they perceive the weather. That's what he calls blockages (or samskaras). His whole premise is that we should release the blockages, so weather is just weather and we can enjoy a good downpour of rain instead of letting it ruin our day.
