If you’re wondering what Mickey’s saying at the beginning and end of each talk, it is:
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

Hope is good and is spiritual. Feeling inspired by others love and affectionate energy IS spiritual. Others energy is appeasing when we feel not appeased and aren't able to, there is nothing wrong with that. Me and my dear ones help each other heal and that is a spiritual act.

I don't agree I'm sorry. Several things I want make me so joyful. I want to spend time with my partner and my step kids because we have such a beautiful time together. We nourish each other and we grow It does bring us pure joy.

Yes because you have learnt to love, the love that exists within you that you express with your family, he is talking about people who dont realise they have it within them but keep looking outside, which in turn keep them stuck in a cycle of wanting love from outside ,instead of giving it from within

I’ve been noticing that most of the narratives we have been hearing the past years are trying to put inside people’s heads the idea of « you first have to love yourself » « you do not need others », « you don’t need to want people’s attention »…. The most beautiful thing in the world is to be seen by another beautiful soul. It is so very nourishing and we need to cherish that. But, I got that sense when I was listening to him especially when he mentioned people who want a house in the Hamptons. I thought to myself: that has never been a dream/goal of mine. 💞

your blocked it like a dam. And now your damned. And yes, sometimes water gets through the dam when the owner decides to let some through. Just like your mind who owns your soul allows you to get some joy when you do what it wants. it runs your life. and it ruins your life.

It’s a wonderful thing and much to be grateful for. I think his teachings are saying, but can you feel pure joy without that? Can you feel that nourishment and connection without those particular people? The truth is, you can. It’s the feelings inside of you that make those moments special, not the moment itself, nor the people.
