Her father brought her home for his own wife to raise. Yes, he had an affair with a native Indian woman.

This was a real nice video. I didn’t know your name well before. All your fotos are a nice representation of you. As I watched watched, I wondered where you were, what you were doing in 2016-18 as a Lakota during Standing Rock. . . Just one suggestion, it would be a nice fix if at the 2:03minute mark of your vid, expand the foto of you and this elder in the pic to show his full face. Sorry, can’t help myself. Don't know if he's actually "married", but he has two kids and a steady girlfriend. Not sure if she's the mom to one, both or either. The kids are about 12 and 8, I think. There's an interview on his web page that discusses it very briefly. The info is very sketchy, so it's hard to tell.
