Quizás lejanamente a Gigli, o quizás Vanzo.
Lovely voice. No one will ever replace Tito Schipa for me doing this aria, but well done! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DnIe-hTXHNw.html
Absolutely can take over the World of Opera and sweep it back up to the days of Caruso, Pavarotti & Domingo!! It's amazing it took 30 years after Caruso's death to get Lanza, who died so quickly he never was able to perform on stage. About 10 years +/- later we got Pavarotti & Domingo. Since Pavarotti there hasn't been anyone I've truly loved until Spyres came along. He magnificent and will breathe new life into Opera & Solo Performances as Pavarotti did. He's incredibly talented and has a GORGEOUS Voice!! When they start to refer to one by last name only and others immediately know who one is speaking about, you know for sure you're going to the TOP!!
yeah .... a "long way to go" happens all da time at the VERAILLES OPERA HOUSE < > when he can belt out the singing frog via ONE FROGGY EVENING, THEEENNN ,he be jammin, maaaan
"A single secret tear from her eye did spring: as if she envied all the youths that laughingly passed her by. What more searching need I do? What more searching need I do? She loves me! Yes, she loves me, I see it. I see it. For just an instant the beating of her beautiful heart I could feel! As if my sighs were hers, and her sighs were mine! The beating, the beating of her heart I could feel, to merge my sighs with hers... Heavens! Yes, I could die! I could ask for nothing more, nothing more. Oh, heavens! Yes, I could, I could die! I could ask for nothing more, nothing more. Yes, I could die! Yes, I could die of love."
There are no similarity between this guy and Pavarotti. I don't usually like so easily. And also you can find me on the youtube comments easily, crushing people due to their stupid comments like yours. However I have to admit that he has a velvet voice that I like a lot but this is not even close to Pavarotti's any performance. He has long way to go.
I like him not or not overly covering the higher notes , like many other tenors do. Sounds more natural and exciting for me. How free as a singer he feels show the little Rossini elements he weaved in and are not part of the score.....😀
He's more suited to tenor roles despite him having good low notes. I love Michael Spyres and all, but he's imperfect of course. He could do fine in baritone roles if he didn't sing woofy when trying to sing baritone.
Cordialmente 👌👍🇪🇸🌿
Hard to believe Michael also sings baritone roles superbly. This rendition of one of the most popular Tenor arias is comparable with renditions by any great tenor past or present. He has excellent vocal technique, effortless singing, with vocal quality consistent throughout his range. Comments I have made when listening to Jussi Bjorling, one of the greatest tenors of the 20th century. Michael may you continue to give audiences pleasure with your God given voice, combined with years of hard work to enable you to achieve such excellence as a Baritenor. Bravo !
Saludos.
He has a beautiful tone. This song is so strongly linked to Pavarotti's genius that it must feel incredibly intimidating for current artists to do. This was an incredibly competitive interpretation!
