Brother Demetrius, you have the philosophy of martial arts down. Let’s also talk about philosophy of existence: Quran says: “Allah:there is no deity worthy of worship except he”:The Neccessary life/consciousness,sustainer of life/consciousness.” Wire like neuronal structures that conduct electricity via ions/neurotransmitters in the CNS/PNS possess no attribute of thinking/life and yet that has “randomly” led to life. Consciousness/thinking is an innate idea(“Fitra”)that is distinct from carbon skeleton and yet the materialist scientist believes that chemistry turned into biology via “god of randomness”/”Emergent property”/”law of nature”. Consciousness can only stem from Necessary Consciousness (Allah-one/indivisible/All-loving/self-sufficient Infinite perfection).
@@KadenBensalemHis opponents have nothing to do with whether he’s a legend of the fight game or not, everyone who’s an mma fan knows mvp whether you’re a causal or a hardcore fan they know his name and they’ve seen the highlights. Fedor is a legend of the fight game you don’t see morons like you saying “yeah but name his opponents 🤓🤓”
I can't wait man. If you're not just a UFC fan but an actual MMA fan then you already know who he is and his greatness. One of the most entertaining fighters ever and so happy he WORKED his way to the UFC cage
I didn't know much more about MVP than his confidence and unique and entertaining fighting style before seeing this pod.. Actually hearing a bit of background and seeing how his confidence is grounded in self respect and hard work rather than arrogance and mindless entitlement, makes me so stoked to see the fight and him hopefully winning. The way Demetrious is able to level so nicely with the guests and make conversation like real people instead of media trained zombies is so refreshing.
He didn't "work" his way to the UFC cage. He could have been a UFC super star but we all know how tight Dana is with the green. So he was a loyal Bellator fighter because they paid far more than Dana was willing to give. Now that Bellator went belly up, Dana jumped on him the first chance he got.
This guy is extremely humble and appreciative of his life! Pray to see him keep escalating the ranks and earn the title !! Astonishing fighter and bigger human !
"I think people don't know what Pokemon GO is can you explain that" lol, I think everyone on earth alive during 2016 knows that dang game haha. Great interview DJ! And MVP! Looking forward to the Ian Garry fight!
Leon has to make it a dogfight vs MVP. Rocky closing the distance or rather crossing the void becomes his big obstacle against the Venomous One. They'll end up trying to outwrestle each other until one guy slips up and gets knocked out. Whether the match is in London or Manchester it's gonna be fire either way 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for and incredible interview/interview/interaction. Now although I’m not a fan of Ian Gary and his persona, his style is comprehensive, tactical and he sticks to the basics. So I do like Ian Gary’s fight style. MVP is the same but he masks his foundational/basics with his STYLE so what you don’t see is what you get plus his comprehension of striking and his comprehensive and diverse skill set makes him a diverse finisher. I think it’s a close Fight, there are many variables, age, speed, cardio, etc. Rooting for MVP, but good luck to both Warriors, 👊🏾🦁🦁🇯🇲🇯🇲🇳🇬🇺🇸
MVP should have gone against Wonderboy. Two legends. Great fan fight. I got Ian winning. He is a future champion if you ask me. I know his personal life is messed up. He’s a weird individual lol. You just can’t deny his skills though. Look at what he’s done so far in his career. Went up against dogs already and made it look easy.
When MVP was asked about fighting Wonderboy, he explained that it might be a really boring fight because their karate would neutralize each other. I thought it was a reasonable point, but I still want to see it lol
@@Mr-E. I never heard him say that, so thank you for letting me know. I think it would be exciting. Both men know how to put on exciting fights. Wonderboy is usually always in exciting fights. I think it’s the fight that needs to happen. Or maybe they’re just good buddies and don’t wanna do it.
Always loved MVPs fights: Now he's becoming one of my favorite fighters: Amazing skills &, Super intelligent and classy yeah he's what do I do favorites. I hope he puts it on Ian Gary. Either way I'm a fan
MVP went to South Cakalaki to train with Wonderboy. Both dudes respect each other, admire each other and like each other's styles. They may never fight each other by the time either guy retires first.
I appreciate MVP's elegant tact in making himself well understood. I enjoyed this episode a lot. Fun for thought: If some of MVP’s Bellator fights/performances would have happened in the UFC, we all might be a lot more familiar with “Most NEXT LEVEL Technically Brutiful (Brutal/Beautiful) Moments” rankings/lists (maybe differently named ;)..and he might be the patron saint, with a well established..maybe 2 or 3 moments on most people’s Top 5. Cyborg's Skull Yamauchi's Knee Andersons Nose Those are 3 moments where the ability differential seemed absurd..waaay outlier. Playfully devastating flow dynamics. Charismatic performer - improvisational and prepared. Whether or not he'd become champion, he'd likely be a (more broadly) well-established legend and, perhaps, a natural action-movie star..there'd probably be documentary work on his family and upbringing (seems like a notably special family in martial arts and in general). ,{^_^}”
@@CaseyKCRichards obviously your just a racist or something else is going on with you personally lol because say whatever will about MVP but you can't deny the wins and ko's old man yes he's a 🤡 but he's a clown that wins
I will never comment again on this podcast ..DJ is the Cat ..He can interview world leaders or world beaters he is that good. Forever a listener but never a whistler.
Love MVP and I'll be rooting for him. This made me go back and watch the holland fight. Hopefully it was just nerves, but MVP makes a lot of mistakes. Garry is great at capitalizing.
Yo what’s up Mighty Mouse big fan!💪🏿 heard you say on your pod with MMAGuru you like to play games where you get punished for your mistakes and have to always be careful of your actions. Wondering if you have given Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege a try at all and if so what you think of it. Much love!
DJ you have a killer show. Look out for me in the future. I’m going to start an MMA and fighting show that’s completely original, funny, and like you, and to a lesser degree Nina Drama, let’s get to know and celebrate the journey, not just, so you’re fighting in a week… there’s enough people doing that, unlike you, poorly. Keep up the good work DJ! You were and are my favorite MMA fighter, and your coach is also incredible. In fact I’m against to octagon, standing people up… open mats that start to rise, like that Karate League setup.
@@SamK-99he's got seriously good genetics and the martial arts family bg. The man should've been in the ufc just about the same time Jon Jones was dominating. Imagine MVP vs GSP though. Georges would've been frustrated with the point Karate style. Sure they're both karatekas so Georges won't be totally shocked at the strikes but he'll have to be perfect in timing takedowns to neutralize the stand-up game.
The more I hear mvp the more I like the amount of genuineness he displays each time. For all the bravado he is always very honest with it and he seems reasonably intelligent
I'm now an MVP fan for life. What a cool Guy. Added to my favorite fighter list. Too many retired so I've been refreshing my roster. I'm more excited about MVP vs Garry than Alex vs Jiri 2. Fantastic show Gentlemen. ❤️🍻🇺🇲
More excited?! I didn't expect to here that 😂 but yeah, MVP should have been picked up by the UFC a long time ago when he was younger. We'll see how he does against Ian.
