It's easy to showboat when you beat the local hot dog vendor. Last time he tried taking on a legit fighter he got sent to the shadow real. MVP would have trouble breaking into the top 10 in UFC
He would not even make it on Dana White's lookin' for a fight 😂 once seen one of his arse licking southern fans saying he is more skilled than people like Isreal Adesanya and Kelvin Gastelum around the time they had a fight, I had to retire from RU-vid comments for a bit. P.S I swear I see you on Naruto YT channels all the time.
His fight with douglas lima was competitive before he got clipped. I think he is a top tier fighter, though i agree he’s been fighting low tier competition
You are too generous, this isnt dancing with the re"STAR"ds, he couldn't place in the top 10 of the special olympics. When fighting any half decent fighter, he pop locks, drops arms, sticks his chin in the air waiting on his boyfriend to drop it in, then gets KTFO.
I'm Irish but I still admit Kiely got everything he deserved... talkin complete shite like he was LEGEND of MMA.... he got brought down to earth by a casual flying knee... levels!
@@choobakasmooth9465 ya he probably went too far with the mockery shit but I've no pity for Kiely... an yes he has a day job so MVP should be embarrassed to have to share the cage with him, nothing to be proud off...
@@thenotorious6158 can do but im not a professional fight but on my way to becoming a mentor which is more productive than hurting someone in the face for a paycheck. I guarantee though, my uncle Khalid Ismail check him.out would KO him stiff
@@mac212 i am a fighter and always will be, its in my blood literally and figuratively. We are always fighting against ourselves which is far greater than fighting in the ring but I have competed in boxing, judo bjj and kickboxing and did great, collected many trophies and medals but decided going pro aint for me as the conseuqences are greater. Point was he fought bums and when he did fight Lima I called he'd be KOed stiff which he was
@@Hmmmm13579 MVP does have respect for fighters. Look how he touched gloves and showed his respect for Lima at the beginning of the fight. Also look again after he goes to get up off the ground after this first round, he tries to high five lima or something lol. Also look how he hugs Lima post fight and congratulated him on his win(his first loss). You just can't tell the difference between him being a show boat and actually being disrespectful.
He acts disrespectfully then wants an apology when he gets some disrespect back. I love watching MVP fight and enjoy the theatrics but there's a fine line between being a showman and taking the piss - last night MVP was taking the piss and deserved everything he got from Dan.
I would say a thick line and not a fine line... There is a big big difference between being a showman and trash talking/hyping up before fights and mocking KOed opponents.. But yes I 100% agree with you!
He took the piss because he felt disrespected by the other fighter because he should not have been in there with him he talked his way in to being disrespected
@jake Yeah it makes no sense, same as Americans saying 'taking a shit' sounds wrong. You got me thinking so I looked up the origin of it, its ridiculous and I don't think I've ever needed a piss so much that it gave me a boner: '"Take the piss" may be a reference to a related (and dated) idiomatic expression, piss-proud, which is a vulgar pun referring to the morning erections which happen when a man awakens at the end of a dream cycle (each about 90 minutes in length throughout the night) or may be caused by a full bladder pressing upon nerves that help effect erection. This could be considered a "false" erection, as its origin is physiological not sexual, so in a metaphoric sense, then, someone who is "piss-proud" would suffer from false pride, and taking the piss out of them refers to deflating this false pride, through disparagement or mockery.[6][7] As knowledge of the expression's metaphoric origin became lost on users, "taking the piss out of" came to be synonymous with disparagement or mockery itself, with less regard to the pride of the subject.'. When I was around 5 years old I wrote this joke - Why were the clothes upset with the washing machine? Cos it was taking the piss out of the pants.
@williamcraig4 williamcraig4 I make a $100,000 a year at 23 and take no head trauma. So unless this dude is making millions, which he is not. He is going to end up as follow: broke, brain dead, and remberred as the that flashy clown who fights tomato cans. My career and future is more worth it and more valuable than his and yours ever has and will be. Oh also Im jacked. ❤️
How does he? he literally celebrates after every win....you people just get mad because you wanted him to lose lol bet you were crying when Gallagher won 😂
Funny how Conor gets support for showboating but MVP gets hate I wonder why? When MVP fought Lima I wanted Lima to win but I believe MVP would get the W on the rematch.
And yet it's not his job to give it. We pay to watch fighters not referees. We don't go to an NFL game and say.. "Mike is referring the game, dudes a beast" . If Dan got a problem with him let him handle outside the cage.
You nuts? The man responsible for keeping fighters safe is showing obvious signs of bias. That’s not a crybaby issue, that’s detrimental to the sport’s integrity and health of these guys.
He can only beat who is infront him ... People hate but one defeat and this animal ices people !! Show some love fuck the hate this man competes in the matrix
Anyone can have their opinion of someone, but a ref on duty needs to be professional. No exceptions. Let this slide and refs will start affecting outcomes of title fights.
he was being professional. MVP wasn't. You're not supposed to disrespect your opponents, its in the rules, you're not even supposed to talk to them, and he warned the other guy first for flipping him off, its refs letting this disrespectufl bullshit go on thats bad, not the other way around, if you can finish the fight finish the fight, what next, one fighter keep another fighter barely alive for 5 rounds and torture/humiliate them for your 'entertainment'?
it was one of wtf moment I saw in ufc, Dan Miragliotta sucks, if taunting is not allowed then all taunting and showboating should be penalized and restricted, taunting been there for too long to get into opponent's head psychologically, it is even double edge as it might get them lose focus and get hit.
So much hate in these comments for MVP. I'm a fan. Having a cocky/showman style doesn't make me dislike a fighter. And people saying 'so what?' etc- he's a ref, he's supposed to uphold a neutral and professional position. It's only right to call him out
I thought that point deduction was bs. If there are decent legal strikes being landed and you're not doing heil Hitler salutes or something the ref shouldn't be concerning themself with the finer points of your physical demeanour
Kung fu Hamsters I agree, crazy all the haters in the comments. Outside of all the showboating. The ref is that, a ref, keep your opinions to yourself. Very unprofessional. And I would love to see these haters in there with this can crusher. People love to hate. Don’t like mvp that much but he brings attention to the sport and you can’t say he isn’t talented.
The fact that we know anything personal about the refs shits me off, why do their egos feature all the time in this sport? Herb and a couple of the others are the only exceptions, they stay out of anything except doing their job. "Big" dan is a roided wannabe
There's so many idiots in this comment section he's there to fight and entertain! the guy he was fighting give as good as he got backstage with a load of shit Talk. MVP was just putting him in his place and showing if you gonna talk the talk you better be able to walk the walk which he obviously couldn't. the ref was bang out of order and quite simply has an issue with Paige.
Imagine referees taking a point away from kernel Whitaker or prince Naseem hamed Venom should be able to fight however the hell he wants. And what is this unsportsmanlike bullshit. Masvial vs askren was worse. And nothing should have been done about it.
It’s shows dan has a personal bias against him. He took a point away during a fight for showboating. Showboating has been a part of prize fighting for 100. Years plus. It should be a bigger deal.
They let Conor do it but when he does it there a problem lmao y’all racist. Conor did worse, HE IS AN ACTOR OR BUILDING A BRAND. Do yall get it or nah? Sheesh
