This was by far the best season of all the seasons of Top Chef. I would take the Final 3, and put them up against any other Final 3 from the other seasons and know they would win. That should be Season 20 of Top Chef: Final 3's compete.

These two bros and Kevin G are hands down the best competitors to ever grace Top Chef. And all in the same season.

i saw somewhere that this season had the best chefs bc it was right after the recession & fine dining chefs needed exposure do to lower customers & the voltiaggo brothers emulate that exactly, they were head and shoulders above the entire competition the whole time

While I loved this season, I feel like they got off easy with not having to design the restaurant for Restaurant Wars.

Just my opinion but season #18 was the best Restaurant Wars wars. Tom Cohliccio said it team Cocozon set the bar for all future Top Chef Restaurant Wars.

So many Top Chef contestants can only dream they can come as close in legacy as the Voltaggio Bros. No one is ever going to come close to their skill or their legacy.

This was a classic "too many cooks in the kitchen scenario." Robin is getting defensive because she has never worked in a kitchen, she doesn't realize it is quite normal for one person, the chef, to be barking out orders. Voltaggio would definitely be that person in this scenario, he is the most talented, most reliable and is willing to go down with the ship. Chef culture normaly would be to yield to that person and just say yes chef. But even Brian, the older brother is a little defensive and doesn't like feeling subordinate. But Voltaggio kept his cool, brought everyone's game up, earned the team's respect and it all worked out. Also shout out to Eli for being the coolest foh manager.

Ah and yet Alex, you have no clue what you're talking about. Lets just be clear, it wasn't about who was lead that day. I have GREAT respect for the Brigade system, it is was makes a professional kitchen work! This was about his ego and the idea that anyone else could impact his outcome.

Robin handled herself well in a situation that Michael made difficult by interfering with her dish.

It's a kitchen not a daycare. Attitudes should be left at the door but Robin thought otherwise. You could clearly see she wasn't at the level of the others.

@@mclovin6039in this specific situation the only person who lost their cool was michael, it really wasn’t that serious. Her desert ended up being the best in the end so it doesn’t really matter

Totally disgusted with the unprofessional behavior of the contestants against Robin. Even if she wasn't the best chef or of the caliber of some of the other chefs, there was absolutely no reason the producers of the show should have allowed such unprofessional, harassing behavior toward a contestant. Michael in particular had no problem using profanity against other contestants but had a hissy fit when Robin used the work dam at him.

@SarahR5338
@SarahR5338 2 года назад
Nah. Micheal is insanely talented. He was ahead of the curve with food on this season. I think the producers booked Michael and Bryan thinking there would be drama, but there wasn't much. They just put their head down and made their food. It was pretty clear to me that we were all watching to see which brother would win. I still edge season 18 in Portland over this season as far as enjoyable but Las Vegas and the Voltaggio brothers are head and shoulders above the rest on this show.
