I hope you are still clean and sober. In 2 weeks I will have 10 years. And before I relapsed in 2005 I had 13 years. I backslid for 8 years, starting out drinking again. I thought I could drink socially. But I soon found out I couldn’t. But I was a functioning alcoholic. But when I relapsed on meth in 2010 I lost everything within 2 years and ended up living in my car. But God is good. And he set my feet back on solid ground. I rededicated my heart to him and asked him to heal me of addiction. And I have not craved or desired any substance since. So on June 9th I will have 10 years clean and free again. God bless you 🙏✝️

I believe that we were always predestined to realise that we don't run the show, become totally broken/ severely damaged, then we Surrender and hand our will over to the care of God, then when we run on Almighty God' s freewill, acting with integrity in all that we do, we become teachable and openminded and openhearted. We are so humble and grateful for every lesson and blessing as their are messages for us to join the dots in this physical life. The gifts of recovery are limitless. Some days I will remember what it was like when I had lost everything and I was living in my car, and I was suffering. And I just get this overwhelming feeling of gratitude for God and for second chances. Heck more than just a second chance. His grace and mercy are amazing. And usually when I’m overcome with gratitude, it usually brings me to tears. I never want to forget how miserable I was, because I never want to go back there. Satan is a liar, and he is crafty. Because I knew better about being able to drink socially. I knew from before I ever quit drinking and using that I could never just drink one. But he was there whispering these lies in my ear, and I listened and gave in to that. When I rededicated my heart and prayed for God to heal me, I promised him and myself that I would never take my eyes off of him again. And I haven’t. My daughter has been conquering in the NICU for 9 days and today the Lord put it on my heart to start a prayer zoom call for NICU moms, as I’m apart of a fb group and everyday praying mamas are posting. We used to do March For Jesus in Victoria in the 90’s and I was like 8 or 9 playing the tambourine and dancing in the streets with everyone… one of the best childhood memories. It was very powerful. I miss those days. I hope we get to go back to doing this it’s a great way to get Gods word and Love to such a dyeing world. Plus I love singing and playing my tambourine.
