Michaela Coel on I May Destroy You and turning personal trauma into art 

Michaela Coel is one of the most dynamic people working in television today. Her new series, I May Destroy You, tells a fictionalized story about the night she was sexually assaulted. The New Yorker describes the show as “a beguiling study of friendship and trauma and writing as a path - albeit not a simple one - to reinvention.” Coel joined Tom Power from London to talk about I May Destroy You and the process of turning personal trauma into art.
