Craig is a phenom. A conversation for the sake of the conversation with really no goal. He always tries to make his guests comfortable even if they did or said something embarrassing. Guy is amazing...
I have to say it's usually mutual. It's like making eye contact , several times. She said it about the horse. If you want to be interesting you have to be interested. It's an old philosophy among warm blooded humans. Craig definitely knows his situation. The banter was always very popular at the pubs. That's all it is.
It was a very good way to introduce these talents. No doubt there is a natural attraction. It helps the young or insecure to loosen up and maybe learn how to act human.

A master at work and an actress that is not pompous will always be gold in this dungeon. He is so quick and witty jumping from one random subject to another and always comes up with something funny. I don't know how he does it and I wish i have just 10% of that skill.
Craig is a master of getting women in Hollywood to come back down to Earth and be females like the rest. Underneath all that money and name brand fashion, they're just women who like not-so-obvious flirtation and innuendos and be seen. He always mentions their beauty, their clothes, their shoes and break them down to great laughter. I'd give all his show clips to these dudes out here who don't know how to break the ice
I actually recommend young guys watch these clips. It also helps if a girl wants to actually have a good time and plays along. Not one woman in a hundred can flirt to save their life. These actresses make a living off their looks and sex appeal. If you get right down to it, they're flattered Craig is such an obviously admiring flirt, and get all highly, but most aren't very good at volleying the conversation. Remember, these should be some of the most engaging women on the planet. About 20% can flirt reasonably well to great. 70% like it and try, some are adorable, but pretty much giggle and soak it up, without much in return. And 10% have a stick up their butt, even with Craig and an environment set up to be fun, and knowing Craig is going to play with them. Let's face it, most people aren't good at having a conversation, and worse at flirting. And women almost all expect the men to carry the load while they do little in return.
I'm horrible at lip reading, but I 100% agree! She's awesome and it makes sense, Craig made it fun to be a guest I think. They got to just be as natural as they wanted to be and not shill for their show or movie. I bet it was refreshing for most guests. IMHO...

In Mr. Ferguson's case, it helps that he's charming, funny, silly, quick-witted and self aware of when he's going too far, not to mention that he's also a terrific interviewer. He (along with David Letterman) is the last of his kind.
If only most attractive women were just looking for someone to take them out for a burger, give them a little eye contact and have bit of facial hair, the world would be a better place.
JETA - This exchange is up there when he was having his hand stroked/petted by a young lady. I can't remember her name but she was apparently so impressed with his skin texture that she asked him, "Do you creme?" His response, I believe was, "I am now". Her knowing Craig and her being a good sport, she knew as soon as she had asked the question she had gave him a great open. Kudos to the master of wit and to her for a great since of humor.
That is so true. Speaking from experience. Can't speak to the whole scuba diving thing. I've always wanted to, granted. Though I won't probably be able to. Just getting too old, sadly. But as to the other, I probably can speak fairly well, heh.
Whata funny couple of interviews, i wish he had interviewed Tamara Taylor too; but would be hard to be more sweet than Michaela Conlin, i find her very sweet.
FixxxerT208 - Yellowstone is a great show. I d I d n o t realize this lady was from that show...and the wife and I binged watched the series, waiting for the new episodes to air. Kevin Costner's character is no user friendly, welcoming Ben Cartwright. Refuse his offer to be given a ride from the ranch to "the train station or to "the airport", lol lol.
Craig is one of a kind. The guys on current late night are clueless "painted face" clowns. Bring back Craig CBS. Michaela is one of the sexiest women I've seen interviewed by Craig. Down to earth (burgers) yet very attractive in her own way. One of Craig's all time great guest interviews (Geoff is a pisser too)
