We often get asked what the process looks like to get a custom setup or junction done with Goodwood Audio. This video goes through the basics and gives a bit of insight into the system we've come up with and have continuously improved since 2010!
In short:
1. We start every custom shop job with a FREE phone call! There are too many details and possible areas of misunderstanding to leave this to an online quote or email chain.
2. We then lock in the details of the setup. Things like setup type (we offer 3 different setup options), layout, pedal list, pedalboard size and style, power, midi chain etc. All approved by the customer.
3. After this we make sure all the gear is ready to be sent to the shop in either Redding (CA, USA), Vancouver (Canada) or Sydney (Australia)!
4. Once all the gear lands, we get to building! We turn the average board around in 1 week depending on size. We like to give ourselves an extra few days of buffer in case there are extra programming requirements or additional details that need to be covered but the majority of boards are started and shipped in the first week.
5. We send the finished board back to our customer to start using / playing / adjust presets and sounds
6. We check in 4-6 weeks later to make sure everything is working the way it should!
