The dialogue works both ways. It can be Mina's or Chaeyoung's POV. As the title suggests, they're both looking for that certain someone but their people(in Mina's case, the humans or her co-pirates and in Chaeyoung's case, her fellow mermaids) see their search as futile. But despite all of the discouraging opinions, they both believe that they will find one another no matter what. The end.
