As for what you mentioned at the end, the singing participants received a list from the show's production with 15 songs and it wasn't what they would normally choose to sing and they could only make their choices within that list. Gabriel Henrique wanted to sing "Stand Up", by Cynthia Erivo, but ended up having to sing "Something Beautiful", he said it wasn't his choice, it was the program he chose, but the song is beautiful and his performance was incredible! Gabriel also sang a second song at his auditions. Simon asked if he would have a second song and he sang "And I am telling you I'm not going" and impacted the audience even more but it was not shown on the program. We only found out because William Drust, his cousin and the interpreter that Gabriel took to the program, recorded it behind the scenes and, after the end of AGT, published it on his social network. There were several really good singers on AGT. The winner was a Boarder Collie & it's owner. People just wanted a dog to win that time. Hard to believe. But, if Gabriel had won, he'd be stuck in Las Vegas. Instead, he's been invited to sing in Turkey and in Washington D.C. Been on The Jennifer Hudson Show. So his appearances on AGT introduced him to a much wider world 🌎. Seems it worked out much better for him.

It is impossible not to be moved by this song by MJ who made it as a cry of protest against man's unconsciousness towards our planet; just as GH surely felt when he was eliminated from AGT, I think it is a cry against that injustice. I think some Americans felt threatened and weren't going to let a MAN be better than their DIVAS...well, here it is again; No intention of comparing. GH is not better than THE KING OF POP because each one is unrepeatable and MJ will forever be the King of Pop, but GH offers an improved version of Earth Song. He is the new KING OF THE IMPROVED COVER AND WHISTLE TONE
