This is my cover video of the Abbey Road B-Side Medley, originally by The Beatles, in its entirety. A lot of work went into this one, so I do hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it... blood, sweat, tears and all.
When I was a drummer back in high school in the 70s, if you could play La Villa Strangiato by Rush, you were a good drummer. And, if you could play Karn Evil 9 by ELP on keyboards, you were a good keyboard player. If you could play Watcher of the Skies by Genesis on guitar, you were a good guitar player. If you could play Roundabout by Yes, you were a good bass player. Nowadays... if you can play the entire fucking side 2 of Abbey Road all by yourself and sound perfect... you are an exceptional musician. Holy shit, what a talented guy.
Damm, what a great job. What a fantastic job! I got a Project Studio and I know all the work thst goes into recording. This is a lot of skill, time, and engineering know how to pull off.
Man this is just brilliant. Abbey Road, my fave Beatles album and this sequence of music is the best ever and it always makes me emotional - and you have nailed it. Fantastic and overwhelming. You deserve so much praise for this and so many more likes too. Stunning. The best I have seen 👏👏👍
The Beatles were magnificent, and YOU are as well. Amazing! I know how much work it takes to put something like that together. Well done! Thank you for sharing your talents. :)
Bravo 👏👌🌷, well worked... U R an excellent talented Musician , Thank U 2 much for this marvelous Medley of My Favourite Historical Band originally done in their fantastic Abbey Road album ❤ The Beatles 🤝 Michel Landry 💝
Fantastic-- one of the finest covers I have heard of the B-side Abbey Road medley-- and I have come across quite a few. Your vocals, drumming, bass, and guitar lines are all spot on. The video is nicely done as well- showing off all the different parts put together. The only minor critique would be the sound mix, at times, but this performance sounded outstanding and was a pleasure to listen to. Congratulations on your achievement!
Give or take about a month’s time. Two weeks to record, one week to mix, another week to fight with old, dying, already over-taxed computer to get the video in sync and rendered.
Holy crap! This is good! YT must really hate you... I suspect you won't get recommended anywhere based upon the 'algorithm'. I'll subscribe. Thanks for the talent and sharing!
The ending is my way of reminding people that all that was created by 4 guys with amazing talent and who were not afraid to dream, and make others dream as well. Thats what that symbolizes for me anyways.
Thanks for the compliment, feel free to share and help get more views. As for the isolated track, the original is available out in the interwebs somewhere and is probably way better than mine.
