Every bone in his body was easy to break except his hands..he was carried through airports near death numerous time but had strength enough to play a concert...you could talk about nature w keith Jarrett, Hancock, evans, peterson etc...petrucciani is much more devine, special...in nature lions slaughter lambs....with him hes the lamb slaughtering the lion...peace out
Michel Petrucciani, being one of ‘My Favorite Things’, probably wouldn’t mind my pointing out what this track owes to McCoy Tyner, part of the ensemble on the famous 1961 John Coltrane album of that name. I still remember the first time I heard Petrucciani play: a recent CD in the background of a Paris wine bar in 1992. ‘Qui joue au piano?’ I asked the waiter in one of my first fully-formed French sentences. He was only too thrilled to tell me. Grateful to have become a fan in his home country, while he was still with us on earth.
Es una melodía hermosa, la guardaré en mi corazón. Vine acá por un "manga" llamado 100 hearts (no me pregunten que tipo de manga es por qué bueno... 🗿).
