this is not a review but an introduction

For scooters i think Michelin City grip is the best tire for all weather conditions. City Grip 1 has crazy long life grip, very stable and safe even after 6-7 years from the tire production. Yesterday i put the City Grip 2 and I hope to have tha same quality!!

I have city grip 1 on my Grom (not a scooter, small moto).. Liked it, but then again, anything is better than stock on groms!

I'll compare the IRC tires that were OEM with the Yamaha Aerox. The ride seems about the same. The City Grip 2 is more suseptible to what I call "Steering of the tire" were the road gaps or surface can slightly change the tires direction. Same route during most days and CG2 seem to have less rolling resistance and I receive slightly better fuel economy. Because of the shape of the CG2 they turn more easily and grip the turns well. I am uncertain about traction of multiple surfaces as I have no desire to test the limits.

Had both these designs and are okay for longevity but no so in the wet and the design seems to collect punctures far more easily than the pilot series I have now which also are softer and grip well especially when rear braking

Fantastic tyres. I do deliveries on my Burgman 200 with these tyres. Rain or shine they're great.

I had this tire on my Vario and it's really good for cornering and on wet roads

Pirelli Angel scooter got me to work 20 minutes faster than the city Grip.

My City Grips 1, developed cracks in the sidewalls. Since I check pressure regularly, but have a lot of potholes and manhole covers that are 4" deep, so I figured it was from them. Went with the City Grip 2, and hope I can get full life out of them...

Love these on my Grom (not a scooter, technically a motorcycle). Either way, good all weather performance.

Downside limited sizes available, I can't have 100/90-12 for my front wheel.

Now on my second pair of CG1s (my 2015 Vespa GTS300 Super came with them stock): good balance of multi-season control and longevity. Will eventually switch to the CG2s "just to see."

I think City Grip 1 is done for and not made anymore. Everyone online Revzilla or Bike Bandit sizes are out of stock.

Which is better, cg2 or pirelli angel scooter?

What is the best street-legal scooter tire in terms of grip for use in dry, warm, tropical weather (20-35C), in speeds up to 60-70 km/h? I don't care about price and durability. I want the tire to warm fast and maintain performance during its life span. I am not riding in rain.

I just have it my scooter, Michelin City Grip Pro, and it was Marvelous and Fan in any terrain. And really grip in Wet and Dry, and i don't slip. Love it‼️😊

I don't know about the 2s but the city grip 1 was terrible.
