Wow Mr N. I love to hear where posters are from!! I see from google maps that you have the city of Newcastle north of you. This city was probably named by early arrival folk either from Newcastle north England or Newcastle Co Down. We have quite a few relations out living in Australia.

@@TomMcClean Most of the suburbs in Sydney and NSW in general are named from the early convicts, street names too. I came out from England in 91 and it still amazes me when we go back and travel the UK and Ireland and see all these familiar names. Mum was from Galway and we have seen move of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland than when I lived there. We did a fantastic drive in 2019. From Galway, up to Sligo, to Londonderry....along the Causeway Coast and around to Belfast, taking in some majestic sights including Strangford Lough, before heading back to Galway via Cavan and Roscommon. That with the huge drive up through Snowdonia, Lake District and Scottish highlands. The guy at the car hire place nearly died when he realsied we had put over 3000 miles on the car lol.

You are spot on about place names Mr N. That drive from Sligo to Londonderry/Derry has now been rechristened by the Southern Irish tourist board as the 'Wild Atlantic Way'. A very smart selling move by their government. We were along the N Ir Causeway coast last week for a wee break. So they'll be lots of videos coming about it. That is very funny about the mileage you put up and the car hire man's reaction. We are not used to long car trips like this in Ireland. the most you would do ever in a day is 200-300 and that would be a seen as a long trip. Australia is vast so long car trips are normal.

I'm afraid it will take a long time and plenty of patience using a pressure washer, Gary. The best way to clean concrete/or flagstones is to do what the farmers do. Hey thanks for the advice Brendan. These things are very powerful and can do real damage if used in the wrong places. how you fixed next week for a cuppa?

Next week is not good because my daughter is coming home and bringing her boyfriend with her so that is most of the week used up. However, the week after might be ok depending on the weather.

Yes andy I've wrecked tarmac and taken the paint off my motorbike frame by spraying it too close in the past. a real powerful piece of kit!
