FANtastic!! Terrific rhythms, innovative choreography, infectiously exuberant and technically difficult made to look easy. The heir apparent to Savion Glover.
As both a soccer player and a tap dancer, I can say the two skills are connected- both require quick precise shifts of weight. Love both the "art" forms.
I wonder if they could put piezo triggers in a pair of tap shoes and link it to a synth to make it into a melodic instrument instead of just percussive.
She may be cute and sexy to some, I am sure she is. But she is a terrible tap dancer. She doesn't understand Art in general, and that includes Tap as an Art. From the first second, i had to stop watcvhjng her.
+Tracy Everitt It might be useful to articulate exactly why you feel this way. I hear morse code pretty well at 50 words per minute and copy it well at 30 wpm, it sounds like a blur to people who do not have good rhythm. I hear a very strong, tightly controlled rhythm coming from Michelle.
And to add to the others below, you don't really say anything other than the fact that you think she is bad (which she is not). Have you checked her bonafides, how much she has influenced the world of tap, how she has brought tap back into the public eye? You offer nothing other than a mean spirited review AND when you say that "from the first second, you had to stop watching her", then you obviously didn't watch it. Add context or forever hold your piece.
