It's even more unfair being a white person and being punished for sins you didn't commit not even your ancestors didn't commit. They are trying to teach white children they are bad and black kids are victims and even if they make bad choices its the white man's fault. They keep racism alive because it makes them money it gets them voted in and with everything she has said about racism its weird she chose the party that started slavery the kkk faught a war and killed many people for nothing and civil rights activists why aren't mad at them yet they blame poor white people or white people who had nothing to do with it im not American I have irish and native in me and I'm sure many other things. I see it with Gen z they think if they turn on their own people so they won't fall victim to this race narrative by pandering and apologizing. Im tired of the fighting I don't have any privileges yet black people do and look what some do with that power. No race on earth is inosent and victims of everything all races are guilty of crimes against humanity her husband killed inosent men women and children in those Muslim countries doing air strikes people should look at that and not vote them in because they want division in those 8 years they did nothing for their own people they are traders and out for themselves.

I'm a white senior woman. But I should pay for slavery from 150 years ago. Well, I'm first generation American. My parents lived in Canada. My Italian grandparents came directly from Italy. The US closed the immigration was closed to Italians, so they went to Canada. So should I be a bitter woman saying to the US, you owe me, I could have been something different if my family was allowed to come into the US. That's stupid. What happened years ago hasn't affected me today. In the US, if you work hard enough, you can do anything. Put responsibility on yourself and stop the "poor me" blaming others.

I enjoy your enthusiasm, humor, and your ability to switch back to seriousness on a dime… sometimes it takes me a minute to adjust, but I see this as a weakness in myself, and not append to the the talent displayed in your duty and job performance. Thank you for opening up the airways to the voices of young people, not that their insights and analysis are “young,” on the contrary, they are thoughtful and mature. The fact that you give them opportunity to show us the high level of thoughtful consideration on their part proves that our people possess maturation far beyond what we normally attribute to them. I am privileged, because I was lucky enough to listen to Jason’s speech at Amfest in Phoenix. It was fantastic. And my second privilege was to sit opposite him at a close table in the hotel restaurant. I stayed home until my kids were in school all day. We lived off 1 income mainly for 7 yrs. I did babysit others kids to make money on the side but wasn't much as I was doing it mainly for my kids benefit and to help families out. I loved staying at home for those important years. Someone once told a story about how they had dinner with Matthew one evening and they gave the server a really big tip and when Matthew saw what his friend had given the server he said, “Hey! You really shouldn’t be giving these people that kind of money!” I can’t deny I was shocked and profoundly disappointed that he would disparage such hard working people that way, or that he would begrudge them the dignity of a kind and generous gesture that surely boosted their morale. I also can’t deny that revelation really changed my opinion of him. Mathew was a person of endless means and connection. He had so many chances at so many great relationships yet he squandered nearly every one of them but I suppose that speaks to the opinion he had of himself far more than it reveals what he thought about the people in his life. It’s just a shame that he could have chosen to be someone of incredible generosity but tended more toward self preservation.

The bad is not on Matthew Perry. The "bad" is on those of us who NEEEED Matthew Perry to be whatever it is we are lacking. An entire nation glued to a TV show that was really not funny, because people needed a distraction from their own lives, they religiously tuned in and pretended it was hilarious. Celebrities are people that use the bathroom each morning and turn the fan on. If WE are so desperate to have them on a pedestal than it is OUR FAULT not theirs. Twenty some years ago my son was a waiter at a nice restaurant where George Clooney would dine once in a while. He asked me one day if I would want Georges autograph if he was giving them out. My response? "No, but he can have mine if he would like it"...............I was serious. George Clooney is just a person. Matthew Perry? A person with a raging demon that ran and eventually ruined his life. I wish him peace, as no doubt he wanted it so very bad. Just a thought from an old lady.

well, except from those who had a personal relationship with him, amirite? yes, he was gorgeous at one point, charismatic and shakin' that leg but he also was unfaithful, totally fat, bloated, drugged out and couldn't remember the words to his songs and people still applauded him, I know, I saw him when he was GREAT *twice at the Hilton in Las Vegas and then at his WORST onstage, at the Forum in Inglewood, Ca. he was no saint at all, lived a druggie lifestyle and he died straining on his toilet. a woman in a store asked Big Mike to get something down from a high shelf and she said it was because she is black. I'm tall and white and that happens to me, and I gladly help the person and move on. She admitted on a podcast she likes her black friends better than her white ones. I couldn't believe she insulted her white friends like that. This comes from insecurity. You'd think she would be the most secure with herself, but she isn't. SHE is uncomfortable with white people because of her own insecurities.

I knew a "white" woman who seemed to feel better about herself and only wanted black caregivers tending to her and wiping her butt, etc. I do believe it was because she felt better about herself that they were not "white" and I am not trying to perpetrate racism or any other bs, people are stupid who do not work on themselves and it reflects in their lifestyle choices. I am sure Big Mike didn't care all that much about reaching for the top shelf to help out, after all, he IS taller than most women, just a fact.
