I don't know why people have this perception that she's uber confident. She's been the same in interviews her entire career. She is an introvert with crippling anxiety.
I also adore Michelle and her talent. However, judging from her interview I don't get the impression that acting is her passion. Acting seems to be something that she does when she isn't busy doing something else.

I have noticed over the years that most people interviewing just have to be pushy and will not let the guest even finish a sentence, they just like the sound of their own voices..Bla bla Bla.. Michelle is a lovely lady and I mean lady, let her have her say!
Very nice just a tip for host that when you call a celebrity for an interview ask short questions and let her speak more instead of you speaking more and first listen to her then answer .......so that we can get more out of a celebrity thoughts ........thanks........Nice movie desperately waiting for its coming.........
I think it's horrible that in this twisted world that stay home MOM's feel guilty staying home , like they say in Iceland , just a housewife . It has broken up the homes like they used to be.
It's a good thing Michelle Pfeiffer's the one saying it then. She's too good natured, too self-aware and has been outside the Hollyweird bubble long enough to avoid falling in with the feminazis. If Brie Larson or Meryl Streep said that, they would have contempt dripping from every syllable.
Hard to believe that she's not familiar with earlier adaptations. The 1974 version is a classic and I'm sorry but I just dont believe that she has not seen Lauren Bacall in it. I just dont buy it!
@hithere I did, she was beautiful when she was young. However I can't deny that i could see a number of surgically modified facial features as i watched her in the movie. It's her business, I don't judge her. I understand that aging is tragedy for beautiful women. But it felt very wrong that she was portraying a woman from almost 100 years ago, as such faces didn't exist back then.
The only thing you "saw" was your own projected jealousy. She's a natural beauty and has had the same features since she was a teenager, long before she was famous. She also looks just as she should for her age - no facelift, no botox. You can see she's in her 50's, she's not hiding it.
