God, I loved Heath Leager. He was absolutely brilliant. If u watched THE STATION AGENT, Michelle was a great cast member on a remarkable film.

Yes they both really loved each other. They broke up in late 2007... In 2008 heath ledger had problems sleeping due to his work load producing film and also because of the break up from Michelle. He was then taking 3 sleeping tablets and 2 pain killer tablets, oxycodone & hydrocodone, which should never be mixed as they basically suppress your immune system and if you take enough lowers heart rate until it puts you to sleep and then you loose consciousness. Ledger was told not to mix them , his response was " I'll be fine " ...it was a multiple of factors as to why he was taking them, Michelle broke up from ledger because his drug use was getting out of hand, there is no question he abused sleeping and pain tablets. Once you truly love someone , it never goes away, ever. I guarantee Michelle still loves him, but you have to move on with your life.

I don't think Jake is REALLY Matilda's Godfather. I think Heath and Jake just made that up during one of the endless interviews they were giving during the Awards Season campaign for the film, as an 'in joke' between themselves. Heath hated doing all those interviews and the whole Awards campaign, whereas Michelle loved it and that's when they started to fight and he realised they were totally different people.

I have no idea what went on between Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger. Nor do I find that relevant. What we do know for sure is that at the time of his death, she was not his girl, and he was not her man. They were exes. His death was premature, tragic and inscrutable. I cannot or dare not imagine how hard it must have been for those who loved her - a bunch that includes, but is not limited to Michelle Williams. No intention to minimize her pain here, but to me it seems that HIS death somehow came to be about HER, and that the media have been casting her as its protagonist ever since. She was made into this tragic, dignified heroine coming to terms with her grief for the sake of their beloved daughter and learning to trust life again and to give love another chance, and so on, and so forth. But she was not the only human being whom he loved and left behind. Despite this, HIS death is made central to HER narrative, a narrative that claims to prevail over the experiences of loss and trauma his other loved ones might have gone through. What if he was dating someone else and was planning to sort his shit out for that new relationship, as soon as he wrapped filming (and of course, never got the chance to)? What's with all this rhethoric about her and their child not being included in his will and the celebration of her "struggles" as a single mum, when it is safe to assume that she was in a place of relative privilege all along, being a white, beautiful, talented, respected, thriving actress? I know single mothers who were widowed or women whose husbands had lost their jobs or were alcoholic or violent or something else REALISTICALLY gruesome and had to live in small one-bedroom apartments, just doing their best to make ends meet. So, single parenting a child as a well-established, well-to-do professional with a solid network of friends and supporters and packaging it as heroism is not only ridiculous, but disrespectful towards the real battles that "commonors" have to fight each day.

I adored Heath and I'm sorry he passed. My comment is about Jake though. I heard where Heath was the first close person to Jake to pass away or something like that. And he was what 30 or so when Heath died. I'm so jealous. I've lost too many people to count and it started early. Much much younger than Jake. It's just not fair... 💔
