her character only has sort of talk-singing lines, so a real singer isnt needed. cynthia erivo and ariana grande are playing the lead characters and theyre singing abilities are phenomenal so dont worry

honestly, great acting is more important than perfect singing - even in musicals.

@@taylormhilliard actually it’s not. The literal whole point of musicals is to experience the music. There are plenty of good actors that aren’t good singers that have ruined musical. IE Russell Crowe in Les Miserables. And even Beanie Feldstein in Funny Girl on Broadway. You have to have both in general. But you can actually be a bad actor and a great singer in musicals and get away with it. But not the other way around

@@BossBrookeArmstrong I saw Beanie's performance live and thought she was great. If you have an excellent singer who can't act and tell a story, it ruins the experience.
